If you set preset 87 and call 87, it means the camera will scan from left to right in low speed.

Step1: Turn off the NVR, unscrew it and remove the cover.

Step2: Unscrew the screws on the bottom of the NVR.

Step3: Unplug the 2 cable from the Hard drive

1. Connect the switches one by one, then connect the poe switch and NVR with the same router.

2. Change the cameras IP to the same segment with your router/enable DHCP of your cameras.

How to solve the problem of camera connect failed?

Please follow these steps to troubleshoot

Please check if the white antenna on the camera is loose first.

1)Cover the sensor under lens on the camera to see if the light is lit or not.

If it’s bright, it means camera is not bad.

If it’s not lit,You can connect the power of a good camera to the bad camera.

 

In the case of determining that camera is not broken.

2）right-click the mouse> video manage> Refresh / Search

3) if your camera with reset button, no LAN port, please take camera close to your NVR

1. delete the connect failed channel

2. press the reset button on camera for 10 seconds

3.Right click the mouse again > wireless add > wait the screen show a new camera IP address 172.20.14.**

4. if no IP address, pls reset camera for several times,

After adding the camera successfully, you can exit the add camera interface

4) if your camera with Lan port

Pls use an Ethernet cable connect the camera to your NVR.

HDD not fund / Not record anything

 Please refer to these below to solve the HDD not fund issue.

1）Check the power adapter connected to the NVR box. The NVR box uses 12V 2A or 12V 3A power supply. If you connect the 12V 1A cameras’ power supply to the NVR, the NVR box will not provide enough power to drive the hard drive.

2) If hard drive is preinstalled, there are 4 screws at the bottom of NVR box.

3）Check Hard Drive Information on NVR box and Format it

Right click the mouse>system setup>General setup>HDD setup>select the hard disk>Click Format, if the progress bar always shows a few percent or the formatting is failed, please contact with us.

 

 

4) Please open the NVR with a screwdriver, check the two cables connecting the hard drive and see if they are loose.

 

5）Take the hard disk out and install it on your computer. Check if the computer can recognize the hard disk. This is to confrim the HDD is the problem or not.

How to solve Gateway Unreachable or Network Error

If you click “fast network” to appear: Gateway Unreachable or Network Error , pls fellow below steps:

Step 1:

1) you must check if the network line is faulty or not: check whether the switch and router line connection are correct.

2) Can you connect to the external network normally through the computer wired connection?

Notice: Do not directly connect the recorder to the fiber

 

Step 2: Right click mouse and choose Fast Network —-> Auto config ,check if the network will be healthy or not

 

Step 3: If the auto config still can’t make it work , pls kindly check the same network computer network setting

Then “manual configuration” set the recorder network settings, don’t choose DHCP, input the same IP address and gateway and submask same as your computer

Offline

1)Pls Connect NVR to your router with an Ethernet cable. After that right click the mouse > Fast network.

 

2)If Step 1 doesn’t work, Maybe the Ethernet cable is damaged. Please replace it with a new one

3)If there is no problem with the cable.

Pls right click the mouse> system setup >Network setup>Do not choose DHCP>Change DNS to 114.114.114.114 or 8.8.8.8 > Power off the NVR and power on again(Reboot the NVR)

4)You can also connect the NVR to your home WiFi,

Enter the wireless internet interface > Select your home WiFi and enter your password > Apply

Change the display channel of the camera

When you select the corresponding channel, you can click the two buttons on the left, and then move the channel

How to set up Motion Detection？

1)Enable Motion Detectin on NVR Monitor

How can I view the camera remotely?

There are four methods to view the camera system remotely. Please refer to these step below.

 

1) First you need to connect the NVR with your router by wired or WiFi

Wired connection

1. wired connection, connect the NVR with router by ethernet cable

2. right click your NVR mouse choose fast network, then click auto config, check cloud ID status is online and network is healthy, then you can remotely check the system on your phone app

3. if not online and healthy network, please click manual configure, and check your router detail,

make sure the NVR and your router is the same IP gateway, IP address the first 3 number should be the same, the last one can’t be the same ,. preferred DNS please change to 8.8.8.8 and apply it

WiFi connection

1. please notes our NVR only can work with 2.4Ghz wifi network,

2. right click your NVR mouse choose system setup–network setup–wireless internet –enable wireless LAN, then find your house wifi name, input password, apply it

（please note the wifi name can not included any special character ,such as “_”, otherwise it will show connected failed.）

3. check the status is connect failed or success, if it is failed, please click view details,

check the same wifi network details on your phone and your NVR, then change them to the same IP gateway, IP address the first 3 number should be the same, the last one can’t be the same ,. preferred DNS please change to 8.8.8.8 and apply it

there are 2 ways to upgrade

1) online upgrade, connect the NVR with router by LAN cable , right click your NVR mouse and choose system setup–system admin–system upgrade–online upgrade

2) offline upgrade, you need copy the firmware to the USB disk and choose local upgrade the firmware you cane email Johnny@hiseeu.com to get it

3) after you upgrade successfully, pls right click your NVR mouse and choose system setup–general setup–error setup–disable alarm icon.

Connect the camera to WiFi, then add it to NVR

You can connect the camera to your home wif and then add it to NVR.

First you need to press the reset button for 6s on the camera to reset the camera,

You can use the following four methods to solve the problem of poor camera signal

Please check if the white antenna on the camera is loose first.

1)First, you can change the wireless channel of the camera system to ‘other’, and the antenna of NVR is better to stand up

Right click > system setup > Network setup > change Wireless channel to “other” > Apply

Then restart the NVR, unplug the power supply of the NVR and plug it in again

2）You can replace the white antenna on the camera with the black extension antenna in the package, so that the black extension antenna passes through the wall.

 

Place the camera next to the NVR to ensure that there is a good signal between the camera and the NVR.

3）You can set a camera as a WiFi repeater to enhance the signal between the camera and the NVR.

4）You can also buy a WIFI repeater, which also enhances the signal between the camera and the NVR.

1)Connect the repeater to NVR by Ethernet cable

2)click “Search” and then there will disappare a device which IP address is “192.xx.xx.xx”

How to add an extra camera?

when you receive the new camera , there is no match between the nvr box and the new camera. You need to pair them.

if your camera with reset botton , no Ethernet port,

1)right click your NVR mouse and choose wireless add

2)press the camera reset botton for 10 seconds

3)wait it shows camera IP address 172.20.14.**

4)if no IP address, pls reset camera for several times, then you can exit,

1) You need to connect the camera and the NVR box with the Ethernet cable.

2)Right-clik the mouse video manage→Refresh/search( find camera IP address as 192.168.1.**)→Match code( wait camera IP address changed to 172.20.14.**) then exit and choose add one

After camera and NVR are paired, you can unplug the Ethernet Cable.

How to solve “Resolution too big”?

Our system upgraded , the “Resolution too big” camera is 3MP, old system can’t work with 3MP camera

1. right click your NVR mouse choose system admin–system version to check NVR version is 2.8 version or 3.0 version

2. if it is 3.0 version, you can upgrade it to latest firmware then it can support 3MP cameras (3.0.6.0 version and above version)

how to upgrade to NVR?

1) Online upgrade : go to system admin-system upgrade-then click online upgrade, wait for it upgrade successfully, then camera will show image

2) Offline upgrade, please email Johnny@hiseeu.com with your system version page , then she can provide firmware to you

3. if it is 2.8 version,the only way can fix is to upgrade camera firmware

right click your NVR mouse–system setup–system admin–IPC maintance, then take a screenshot of camera version, email : johnny@hiseeu.com for resolution too big problem.

4. after you get the firmware, please copy to your USB DISK root, format should be FAT32,go to IPC maintance page–click the correct channel–click start–remove mouse –insert USB disk–wait for camera upgrade successfully

5. go to system setup–channel setup–encode setup–find correct channel–change resolution from 2304*1296 to 1920*1080.

How to Change the Display Position of Channel

There are 2 ways to changed the position of camera

 

1)Generally speaking, we will choose four channels to display at the same time on the screen

 

For convenience, let’s first choose to have all channels displayed on the screen.

right click your mouse — Split Screen — X8 View

 

Now we want to let the Channel 7 to the Channel 2 position

left click the mouse on the channel 7 screen and dont loose

then move to the channel 2 position ,loose the mouse left key

 

that is OK

2)Please wrote down the IP address of the camera (which you want to exchange it channel,such as channel 5). Then deleted the channel which you want that camera to place(such as channel 2), did a manual edit on channel 2 ,Enable it and change or add the IP address of channel 5 wrote down. Camera immediately came up on channel 2.

App wrong Password

1)If you doesn’t change the User Name and the Password on NVR box.

The User name is ‘admin’, no password (you needn’t input anything)

 

 

 

2)For change the password on NVR box.

Right click the mouse>system setup> system admin>User>set password

 

3)User name and password should not exceed 8 characters and should not contain such as &*! @ (… #% and other special characters (you can setup password: jasmi985/ jasmi996/ jasmi856 or others. )

If you can login NVR with a password, but can’t login on App, please confirm that the password within 8 characters

Note：App login username and password are different from the camera login username and password. They are two different sets of username and password system.

How to set up Email notification?

a. Enable POP/IMAP in your email. If default setting of your E-mail enables that, please skip this step.

Login your email via browsers; go to Settings – Forwarding and POP/IMAP-Enable POP and IMAP – Save Changes.

 

We also need to Allow 2-Step Verification for your Gmail account, login www.google.com

 

• Open your Google Account.
• Select Security.
• Under “Signing in to Google,” select 2-Step Verification and then Get started.
• Follow the on-screen steps.
• Normally after you set 2-step verification, you will create a new password on NVR password page you need input this password

b. Go to your system main menu. System setting- Channel setting- Video Detection. Enable E-mail Notification and click Copy to apply the same setting to other channels.

 

b. Go to your system main menu. System setting- Network setting- Email setting. You will see the interface shown below.

 

c. Follow the instruction below to input the information required to finish the setting.

 

Email Notificaion: Check “Enable”

SMPT Provider: Click the one you use in the selection. Or click USER CUSTOMIZE to use the E-mail server that is not in the selection.

Sender : Type in your sender email address

Password: the password of login your sender emial address

SMTP service: when you choose the correct SMTP provider, it will suggest correct service to you

Port: The default port is 25. If it doesn’t work, you can go to the link below to get the port of the e-mail you use.

Encryption Type: Select the one that your E-mail server works. If there is no selection, please choose None.

Sendee 1: the email you want to receive email alerts

Sendee 2: the second email you want to receive email alerts, you can leave it blank

 

d. Then click Test see if you can receive a test e-mail alerts from Esee. If yes, that means the setting has set successfully. Then, please click Apply to save the setting.

e. Latest APP allow to set email notification on the cellphone directly

Go to cellphoen app Eseecloud, click me–settings–mail to receive alert messages–enable it, then put your gmail address, to get verfication code, after you input verfication code click confirm, then you will get the email notification, thanks

 

 

 

 

 

How to setup Record Plan?

You can set up three modes of record plan

Note：After you have set up the record plan, you need to click “copy to” to apply the record plan to all channels.

1) Time Recording:

Setup period of time of recording on NVR,Right Click the mouse>System Setup>Record Setup>Record Plan.

Click Time and put mouse icon on the upper left corner(for example 1 as picture shows).press and drag the mouse to the right to choose the time.the list will turn to red.

2) Motion Recording:

Only detect motion and then start recording. Right click mouse>System Setup>Record Setup>Record Plan.

Click Motion and putr mouse icon on the upper left corner, press and drag the mouse to the right to choose the time. The list will turn to green.

3) Alarm Recording:

Riht click the mouse>System setup>Record Setup>Record Plan.

Click Alarm and put mouse icon on the upper left corner,Press and drag the mouse to the choose the time,The list will turn to yellow.

Note: Users can Setup any period of time they want, for example 0:00:00-23:59:59, That’s 24hrs*7days recording. When NVR detects hard disk, the default setting will be 24hrs*7days recording.

The priority of Alarm is higher than that of Motion, and the priority of Motion is higher than that of Time.

When you have set the corresponding record mode, you can click “select all”, and the time area below will become the corresponding color

Video Playback

Right clik the mouse>Video Playback>Choose date、Channel、record mode>Click Search>then can view playback file

Note：You can only watch four Channels recording at the same time.

How to backup the recording

There are 2 ways to make backup

1) use USB disk to backup

1. right click your mouse, and choose video backup.

2. choose the channel/date/time playback you need backup,

(If you copy too much backup, we suggest you copy it one by one channel to save copy time)

3.Backup, the let your mouse out and within 30 seconds put the USB to get the backup

How to fix there is no cloud ID

1. Connect the recorder to the same LAN as the computer ：connect to the router

2. Provide the IP address of the recorder, System Settings – Network Setup Photo

Recorder switching debugging mode: system setting – system management – system maintenance, right mouse click, pop-up dialog box, click the left mouse button in the blank space of this pop-up dialog box, right click, click the left and right button, 12 times, Find out if the font prompt toggles the debug version, click Yes, OK. How to solve Most of Network Status Problem?

Please right click NVR mouse choose Fast Network check Network Status

• Healthy network: Network connect successfully
• Gateway Unreachable: means NVR IP Gateway and IP address not in the same gateway as your router, Click Manual Config, then find your router correct IP gateway, such as 192.168.1.1, then IP address should be 192.168.1.***, last numbercan’t be the same as your router, change it on NVR. If you connect with wifi network, you need go to System Setup—Network Setup—Wireless Internet page click View Details and click Manually to change those information.
• Request DNS Error: disable DHCP, change the Preferred DNS to 8.8.8.8, reboot the NVR and router.
• Network Cable Disconnect: make sure the NVR connect with router by Ethernet cable
• Network Card Not Found: on Network Setup page find PPPoE disable it.
• Network Busy: disable DHCP, change the Preferred DNS to 8.8.8.8, reboot the NVR and router.

1. From the Home Page on SmartPSS select the “PlayBack Button”

2. From the PlayBack Page on the right hand side select“Camera or Channel” for the footage you need to backup. Multiple cameras or channels may be selected.

3 . Select “Record or Picture” for the content you would like to backup.

4. Select which one of the options “Type” (such as Motion Detection) you nedd to backup.

5. Select the stream “Main or Sub”.

6. Select and choose “Date and time” .

7. Select “Search”.

8. Select or Check which footage you need to export or download. Video footage can be viewed by clicking on the “Play” button and by selected events.

9. You may trim the video footage if the “Record tab” is selected. You will need to click the scissor or trim icon to trim the selected video.

11. Click on the disk icon to save and start the export.

• How do I upgrade the firmware version of a Network Video Recorder (NVR)?

  • A1: Upgrade from a PC
    1. Download the NVR firmware from the banner message after logging into Vision Web Portal. Save the firmware to a known location in the computer.
    2. Access the NVR by entering the IP address of the NVR in the web browser.
    3. Type username and password to login to the NVR.
    4. Once login to the NVR,
       Click on “Setup” tab > Navigate side menu to Maintenance > Maintenance
    5. Under Maintenance > Select “Local Upgrade” tab
       Choose NVR as device type
       Click on the “Browse” button to browse the firmware saved in step one.
       Click on the “Upgrade” button to upgrade the firmware.
    6. There would be a firmware upgrade progress bar showing the upgrade process. Once it reaches 100%, NVR will reboot right after. Firmware has been successfully upgraded when NVR comes back from reboot.

• I have enabled Search People in Analytic. Why are some people not being shown in the People tab?
  Is there a limit of how many people I can run face search with?

  The reason can be that the face is too far away from the camera, or is facing away from the camera such that it will not yield a good face match result.
  There is no limit on the number of faces to be detected per customer account.

• What type of recording compression does your NVR support?

  H.264 and H.265 video compression are the compression supported by NVR.

• Is there a limit to how long the stream will stay active?

  Not at the moment.

• Are we using P2P to stream video to the cloud? When I request a live stream of video, what happens?

  Detected event videos are stored in the cloud and are accessible by the account user or administrator until they expire after 30 days. A recording playback is directly streamed from the NVR through the Bridge to the user’s browser.

• How many streams of video can I pull from one camera? What is the limit?

  20 streams per each smart series camera. When an IP camera is connected to a NVR, 3 of 20 streams will be occupied – Main Stream / Sub Stream / Third Stream.

• Can I assign permissions to the users?

  A user can be assigned permission to view cameras live, playback recording and edit cameras for the sites assigned to this user.

• Can an email be the main account for a bridge and the secondary account for a different bridge?

  No, one email address can only be associated with one account.

• How do I keep my bridge’s system and firmware up to date?

  Your Turing’s bridge can be upgraded via OTA (over-the-air). You will see a pop-up notification whenever a new version is available. To start the process, click “Upgrade” from the pop-up, or go to Settings, select the device you want to upgrade under “Devices”, and click the Upgrade button. 

• Where can I find configuration guides for legacy 3rd party camera installations?

• Cannot view 3rd party camera Live view on Turing NVR or Turing Vision but cameras show online.

  Check the encoding setting of the camera to see if you have enabled H.264+/H.265+ or any advanced compression technology. If YES, please turn it off. Advanced compression technology is proprietary and cannot be supported.

• How to add a brand new 3rd party camera into Turing Vision?

  Follow up with manufacturer’s installation guidelines to activate, setup cameras, turn on ONVIF, make sure 3rd party cameras are in the same LAN as Turing NVR. Then refer to Turing Legacy installation guidelines for the rest steps.

• Can I use the Turing NVR to Change the Third-Party camera settings?

  Generally, No. The ONVIF protocol can work with time and encoding but usually not with intrusion zone or motion detection settings. It is important to set them in both places to ensure the work.

• Do we utilize Main, Sub, and Third Stream in the Turing Vision Platform?

  Yes. The Main is for the HD streaming, the Sub is used as default up to 2*2, and Third is used >2*2.

• How long does it take for the camera settings in the Turing Vision Platform to update?

  It may take up to 5 mins to update the camera setting display here if you made any setting change on NVR or Camera. Please be patient with the updating of information to the cloud.

• Will there be any 3rd stream recommendations?

  Not exactly, usually the 3rd stream is the lowest resolution stream, compared to the main or sub stream. Just make sure the 3rd stream is lower than 720p.

• Cannot connect camera to NVR and it shows error message: user lock out.

  This is because some 3rd cameras have a protection mechanism if the user name/password is incorrect, you could either wait for a certain time period or simply reboot the camera.

In general, a power cycle of a Wyze camera can frequently resolve most problems; this is a method that is quite simple to use and works most of the time to bring Wyze devices back to work.

Why would You Power Cycle Your Wyze Camera?

There are several reasons why you should power cycle your Wyze camera. One possibility is that your commands are not being recognized by the camera. Another possibility is that the image quality is poor or that the camera is unable to connect to your Wi-Fi network. In rare circumstances, a power cycle may also alleviate difficulties with motion sensing or alarms.

How to Power Cycle Wyze Camera?

Simply unplug the power from the camera after turning it off and streamline the power connections after a few seconds. This will reboot the unit, and you will have to wait a few moments for the base station to connect to the Wyze camera. So, if you’re experiencing small issues and don’t know how to power cycle the Wyze Camera.

Note: The power cycle technique is rather straightforward despite of Wyze model or whether it is outside or inside the camera.

Simply follow these steps:

1. Unplug your WYZE device from its power source. Either from the switchboard or the camera side, both ways work.
2. Give yourself at least 10-15 seconds to let the camera completely discharge itself.
3. Plug the device back into the power source and let it restart.

How to power cycle the WYZE outdoor camera?

Simply follow this procedure:

1. Unplug your WYZE outdoor Cam from the hook.
2. Remove the batteries, wait for at least 2 minutes, and insert them back again.
3. Now again wait for at least 15 secs, and now turn it ON.

Done

How to power cycle the WYZE camera remotely?

To remotely power cycle your WYZE camera:

1. Go to the WYZE App (IOS) (Android), and select your WYZE camera from the list.
2. Power it OFF.
3. Better power off the main switch (if it is remotely controllable.) If not, skip this added caution.
4. Wait for at least 15 minutes and then restart it.
5. It should be reset as expected..

If the camera becomes fully hung up, a remote restart will never work.

You may want to install a smart switch between the camera power adapter and the socket to fix this problem. It will not be more than $10. However, if the local Wi-Fi signals are absent or poor, the problem will remain.

How do you power cycle a WYZE Cam V2?

Power cycling WYZE Cam V2 is no different from doing so with any other WYZE camera. Nevertheless, if you have power cycled it again and again, and you still can’t connect to your WYZE Cam V2, you will need to Hard Reset it.

You can find an easy way of Hard Resetting under V3 factory resetting. (Same process)

How do you power cycle a WYZE Cam V3?

1. Power cycle the camera by unplugging the power and plugging it back in.
2. If the camera returns to flashing red but never reconnects, set the camera up as a new device.
3. In the Wyze app (IOS) (Android) , tap Home then the + plus sign. Then tap Add Device > Cameras and select your camera. Follow the prompts to set up your camera again.

You will need to Hard Reset it in case the problem still persists:

To factory/Hard reset your Wyze Cam v3:

1. If you have a MicroSD card inserted, remove it.
2. With the Wyze Cam plugged into power, press and hold the setup button on the bottom of the camera for 10 seconds. This will reset the camera.
3. Wait at least 30 seconds for the unit to initiate.

This process can take up to 5 minutes. It’s rare, but it’s possible.

1. The LED status light on the device will change from Solid Red to Flashing Red.
2. The device is now ready to be set up again.

What Should You Do If the Camera Doesn’t Connect even after the power cycle of the Device?

There are a few troubleshooting steps you can go through:

• Step 1: Reboot your Wyze Base station by disconnecting it for 30 seconds from its power supply.
• Step 2: Check the Wyze Cam Outdoor and Base Station status lights. They should both be solid blue, but if they’re flashing, it means they’re still trying to connect.
• Step 3: Launch the Wyze app and choose the connected Base Station. If the signal strength is merely one bar, move your Base Station closer.
• Step 4: Charge the Wyze Camera for four hours outside. You may use the mobile app to check battery levels whenever you need to.
• Step 5: Open the Wyze app (IOS) (Android) and navigate to Account > Firmware > Upgrade, then hit Update. The correct software can guarantee that the devices communicate.

Why is my WYZE Cam not connecting after the above methods?

WYZE Issue Code 90 is a “common” error that might occur at any moment. However, in 97% of the cases, the offenders are as follows:

• If there is a connection problem and repeated time-outs during setup, the Wi-Fi frequency might be the culprit. Most Wi-Fi routers today support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. As a result, you should ensure that you are connected to the 4 GHz WI-Fi network.
• WYZE Error Code 90 is also caused by slow internet connections or connections that are more limited than usual.
• Check that no significant equipment is interfering with the WYZE camera’s access to signals; otherwise, an error path may be paved.
• Corrosion and day-to-day difficulties can also occur and can be remedied by disconnecting the wires/sockets, etc. and inserting them back in. In general, you can simply overcome these annoying situations using simple ways.
• If the Wi-Fi channels get too congested, they may wind up over-consuming the minimum bandwidth required by the WYZE Cam, resulting in the WYZE Error Code 90.
• SD Card might possibly be the culprit! If the inserted SD card is corrupted, WYZE Error Code 90 will most likely appear. The reason is that SD card corruption interferes with the back processing of the camera’s live broadcasting. It sometimes entirely stops it.

Solutions Of How to Power Cycle Wyze Camera Error Code 90

If your WYZE Cam is not connecting, it may be due to a power issue. First, try power cycling the camera to see if that resolves the issue.

To power cycle your WYZE Cam:

• Unplug the power adapter from the camera.
• Wait 10 seconds.
• Plug the power adapter back into the camera.
• Wait for the green light on the front of the camera to come on, indicating that it is powered on.
• Once the green light is on, open the WYZE app (IOS) (Android) and check to see if you can view your camera’s live footage.

If the problem is not resolved then you might need to see other solutions and apply it accordingly:

1. Unburden the Wi-Fi Channel
2. Change the Wi-Fi Frequency Band
3. Establish New Wi-Fi Access Points

Unburden the Wi-Fi Channel

1. First, on your Android or Apple phone, install the Wi-Fi Analyzer App.
2. Check to check whether any Wi-Fi channels are saturated with this app.
3. You will now require a Windows PC. Switch it on.
4. When you press “Windows + R,” the Run Prompt window will appear.
5. Enter “cmd” and press “Enter.”
6. Now, type “IP config” into the command prompt and hit “Enter.”
7. Note the IP address under the “Default Gateway” header.
8. Put this IP address into the search box of any web browser.
9. You are now on the router’s Control Panel log-in page.
10. Enter the username (often “Admin”) and password (if not previously established, the code written on the back of the router).
11. Now that you’ve signed into your router, go to Wireless Settings and pick “Channel.”
12. Many channels will emerge with designations such as “1,2,3,…”
13. Using the Wi-Fi Analyzer App, choose the least saturated (least-burdened) channel from the list.
14. WYZE Error Code 90 should be resolved by changing the Wi-Fi Transmission channel.

Change the Wi-Fi Frequency Band

1. Open your web browser and type in the address bar 192.168.1.1
2. Log in with the username and password for your router (If you don’t know what they are, check the documentation that came with your router)
3. Click on the “Wireless” tab and then select the “2.4GHz” radio frequency band instead of the “5GHz” band
4. Save your changes and restart your route

Establish New Wi-Fi Access Points

If you are still unable to connect to your Wyze Cam after attempting the above-mentioned alternatives, you may need to create new Wi-Fi access points. To accomplish this:

1. Open a web browser on your PC and navigate to 192.168.1.1.
2. Enter “admin” as the login and “wyzeCam” as the password.
3. To add a new Wi-Fi access point, go to the WLAN tab and then click Add.
4. Enter a name for your new Wi-Fi access point in the Name field (e.g., Wyze Cam)
5. Enter the name of your home Wi-Fi network in the SSID field (e.g., MyHomeWiFi)
6. Enter the password for your home Wi-Fi network in the Password area.
7. Click on Save, then on Apply Changes.

How Do I Restart Wyze Camera?

• Option One: Unplug the camera from the power source for 10 seconds, then reconnect it.
• Option number two: For 5 seconds, press and hold the power button on the back of the camera until the LED light flashes blue.
• Option three: Install the Wyze app and go to the “Device Settings” section. Tap “Restart” next to the name of your camera, then confirm by tapping “Yes.”
• Option four: If your camera is stuck and you are unable to reach Device Settings, you may factory reset it through the Wyze app. To begin, navigate to Menu > Account > My Cameras. After that, choose the camera you want to factory reset, then hit the gear icon in the upper right corner and choose “Factory Reset.”

Can you power cycle Wyze camera remotely?

Yes, you can by going to the WYZE App (IOS) (Android), selecting your WYZE camera from the list, powering it OFF and Waiting for at least 15 minutes, and then restart it.

Why is my Wyze device reset failed?

If the connection continues to fail, restart your phone or tablet and then erase the Wyze app’s cache. If the preceding troubleshooting options have failed, consider restarting the camera by going to the camera’s settings and selecting “Restart Device.”

From the beginning:

1. LTS always recommend the customer using the same product series for the installation.
   For example:  (LTN) with (CMIP IP Camera)
2. Mix and match with different product series will cause more time during the installation. For example, the Plug & Play feature will be disable from any LTN NVR. need to set up manually.
3. By default, the LTDH camera is set to the H.265. (H.265 / H.264H)
   If you got un-support stream type error, that usually means the NVR is only compatible with H.264.
4. Strongly Recommend using LTN K series or better model which support H.265.
5. Recommend connect LTDH camera to the regular PoE switch, not connect to the built-in PoE.
6. You will need more time to set up for the first time if you connect to the built-in PoE on NVR.
7. You must have a PC computer with a network cable to manually program it (one at the time) if you have more than 1 IP camera.

Here is the information for how to set up the (LTN) Platinum NVR with the (LTDH) Sapphire IP camera.

For LTN with built-in PoE situation: By default, the LTN Platinum NVR will not auto detect the LTDH IP camera.  Therefore, you need to connect a PC to the built-in PoE port. Please setup one at the time if you have more.

Connect Windows PC to the built-in PoE port:
Please connect a PC to the built-in PoE port and set up 2 IP address for the connection.
192.168.188.250 and 192.168.1.250

How to Setup PC with two IP address:
Right click on the Network icon, Open Network & Internet settings.

Open Ethernet Properties,
Select (TCP/IPv4),  click Properties.   Setup the 1^st IP address (for exp: 192.168.188.250), click Advanced.  Add the 2^nd IP address (192.168.1.250)

Click everything OK when finish.

Note:  for all other unspecified setting, just leave it blank.  If you don’t need the internet, make sure leave the gateway number empty.

How to adding LTDH IP Camera to the LTN NVR

IP Camera Activation Required
Activate the IP Camera from the Browser:
Open the Browser and enter the IP camera default address:  192.168.1.108

Setup your IP camera password from here and will activate it.
and check the Email address (if your IPC can reach the internet)

Login from the Browser and Change IP address
Login 192.168.1.108,

Setting > Network > TCIP/IP.
Change your IPC ipv4 address to match the NVR camera list address.  Make sure no duplicate IP address.

Login NVR from the Browser and assign IP camera
Logon the NVR from the browser.

The Built-in-PoE NVR default address:  192.168.188.1

Configuration > System > Camera Management

Enter the correct address and password & Wait for the connect.

That should be it !!!

Troubleshoot:
If you get the Stream type from the IP camera is not supported error,  usually that is related to the video encoding format not support issue.  Most older model NVR support the H.264.    Therefore, you need go to the IP camera setting (Not the NVR) change from H.265 to H.264H and connect it again.

Final Check

1. Check the IPC Date/ Time.   NVR wont update it automatically.
2. Motion Detection Checking.
3. If you got the unsupport stream type error, please switch it to H.264H.
4. Check the recording playback.
5. Built-in-PoE won’t support any other network region than .188.xxx
6. Channel number limits to CH1-CH16

Connect LTS Platinum IP Camera on LTS Sapphire NVR / Unisight Empower NVR

How to use an LTS camera on an Empower/Sapphire NVR
This guide is to assist you in connecting an LTS Platinum IP camera with a Unisight Empower or LTS Sapphire NVR. For the most stable performance, we recommend using the LTS IP camera on a separate Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switch. For information to connect the camera to the built-in PoE switch on the back of the Empower/Sapphire NVR. see another KB (Link)

Camera Setup

1. Connect the camera and the NVR to the separate switch. Assuming the switch is already connected to the router and the NVR is already setup with an address on the same network as the router, we can setup the camera.
2. Using the IP portal tool, find the LTS IP camera, select the device and activate the camera with a password of your choosing.  You could also access the LTS IP camera by its default IP address via web browser and will also be presented with an activation window there.
3. Once the camera is activated, change the IP address to an address that is free on the network. The first 3 numbers of the IP address should match the first 3 numbers of the IP address of the NVR.
4. Log into the camera’s IP address on a browser.
5. Navigate to Configuration > Network > Advanced Settings.
6. Make sure the ‘Enable STD-CGI’ as well as ‘Enable ONVIF’ is selected and check marked.

NOTE: On older versions of the current level firmware with the ‘Enable ONVIF’ setting, the ONVIF protocol uses the camera credentials for the ONVIF authentication. On some newer versions of LTS IP camera
firmwares, there is a ONVIF user management where you can set up a credential for the ONVIF authentication that is different from the camera’s credentials.

When using an LTS IP camera on an LTS NVR, by adjusting the camera settings on the NVR, the settings are also automatically synced and changed on the camera as well. With a Empower or Sapphire NVR, the settings may not sync properly with the camera, so the settings should be set before we add the camera to the NVR.

1. Navigate to Configuration >Event > Basic Event > Motion Detection.
2. Checkmark ‘Enable Motion Detection’

NVR Motion Detect Setup
In a new browser tab, navigate to the NVR’s IP address and log in. Once you are onto the main page,
navigate to Setup > Event > Video Detection > Motion Detect.

1. Make sure the ‘Enable’ checkbox is selected for the channel the camera will be added to.
2. If you click the Setup button next to the ‘Period’ label, you can set up the time and date period you want the Motion Detection to be active on the NVR channel.

You may also want to copy the Motion Detect settings to other channels. In this case, click the ‘Copy’ button on the bottom of the page, select the channels you would like to copy the configuration
to and click ‘OK’. Make sure to click ‘OK’ at the bottom of the Motion Detect page to save the copied configurations.

NVR Record Schedule Setup
By default, the Empower and Sapphire NVR channels are set to Continuous recording. To configure the NVR to record on motion detection, the recording schedule needs to be adjusted.

1. While still on the NVR webpage, navigate to Setup > Storage > Schedule.
2. Select the channel you are looking to modify (select ‘All’ to modify the schedule for all channels at once). Click the ‘Setup’ button next to the day of the week to adjust.
3. On the Setup window that comes up, select the ‘MD’ checkbox to enable Motion detection for that period. You may want to un-check the ‘Continuous’ checkbox if you do not want the system
   also recording continuously. You can also select different days of the week to copy the period and record method.
4. Click ‘OK’ to save the schedule.

If you did not select ‘All’ for the channel selection, you can also copy the record schedule on one
channel to any other channel by clicking the ‘Copy’ button on the bottom of the Record schedule configuration page.

Adding Camera to NVR
After the initial camera and NVR configuration is complete, the last step is to add the camera to the NVR

1. Navigate to Setup > Image > Registration.
2. The list on the top is the network device search and the list on the bottom is the list of cameras added to the system.
3. Click the ‘Manual Add’ button.
4. Set the Manufacturer to Onvif (1), type in the IP address of the camera (2). Make sure the HTTP
   Port is still set to 80, unless it is changed on the camera’s port.
5. Type in the password of the camera (3), click the ‘Connect’ button (4) and wait several
   seconds.
6. Make sure the ‘Channel’ setting is set to the channel you want to add the camera to and click ‘OK’
   (5).

Your LTS Platinum IP camera should now be connected and working with your Unisight Empower or LTS Sapphire NVR!

How to use an LTS Platinum IP Camera on Sapphire NVR build-in PoE Switch

How to use an LTS camera on an Empower/Sapphire NVR built-in PoE switch
Several of the Unisight Empower and LTS Sapphire NVRs have a built Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) switch on the back of the system. To utilize this hardware, the camera must be configured differently than the setup in the guide above for installation of the camera on a separate PoE switch.

1. Before activating the IP camera and setting its address, log into the Empower/Sapphire NVR on a
   browser and navigate to Setup > Network > TCP/IP. On the page, make note of the IP Address and default gateway showing on the Ethernet port that is connected to the router.

2. Navigate to Setup > Network > Switch.
3. On this page, the IP address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway needs to be set for the built-in PoE
switch. Make sure the first 3 numbers of the IP address of the Default Gateway that you place here
do not match those that are listed in the Step 1 listed above.

Note: For this example, we set the switch to be 192.168.188.101 with a gateway of 192.168.188.1
(you can set this address to any subnet as long as it does not match the NVR’s IP address subnet).

After the built-in PoE switch is configured, activate and set the LTS Platinum IP camera on an IP address where the first 3 numbers match what was setup on the Switch page of the NVR in the previous step.
Follow the same steps on page 1-4 for setting the configuration of the camera and the NVR. The only step that is different, is when you are adding the camera to the NVR, make sure the channel you select is the same channel that the camera is plugged into. If the camera is plugged into port 3, make sure to add the camera under channel D3.
