How to Install xmeye poe nvr systems

1.Power on the NVR with the 48Vor 52V power adapter.

2.Connect your NVR to the router.

3.Connect the NVR to a monitor via VGA or HDMI cables.

4. Connect the PoE Cameras to the NVR with the PoE Ethernet cables.

5.Switch on the NVR and turn on the monitor.

6.lf your monitor doesn’t have a speaker, you can connect a speaker to the 3.5mm “AUDIO OUT” port to get sound from the recorded video.

Getting Started Settings

At your first login to the system, there will be a quick guide to help you set up the basic information of your NVR.

Time Setup

Please adjust the time and date to be the same as your local.

Network

On this page you could see the network information about your system. Click “Next” to continue.

Install XMeye App

Scan QR code of the App to download the app.After the app downloaded, please create your own profile account on the app. And then scan the QR code of the serial number of the NVR to add it into the app. Please ensure the NVR is online before you watch videos of it on the App.

CameralChannel Setting

Before installing your cameras to the final position, please check and adjust the position and the angle of the cameras.

Display

Adjust the display settings of the monitor images

General Setting

In the General Settings, you can change the language, the action when the storage is full and the auto logout intervals if you want to get a better protection of your NVR.

Record Configuration

In the Record Configuration, you can set up the record mode for each channel to save space of the HDD and only record the important videos. 

Channel: The channel which you want to do settings of record configuration.

Length: The standard length of each video segment.

Mode:The way you want to record videos. 

1.Schedule:The selected channel will only record during the chosen time period.

2.Manual: The selected channel will record 24/7.

3.Stop:The selected channel will not record any video.

*Notice: If you would like to set the recording mode to “Alarm”, please make sure that you have enabled the alarm function of the corresponding channel.

Alarm settings

lntelligentAlert

The Al smart security camera system supports intelligent alerts.such as human detection and face detection. In order to adjust the related settings, please enter “Intelligent Alert “in “Alarm” menu.

Channel:Choose the camera which you want to do alert settings. 

Enable:When you tick off it , the camera will not detect any movements. 

Human Detect:The camera will detect human activities by recognizing humanoid body shape.

Face Detection:The camera will detect human face when this is ticked. 

Record: When this option is ticked on, the camera will record a video segment when human detected. 

Mobile Reported: When it is ticked on, the camera will send alert notifications to your mobile app when it detects movements or human activities.

Alarm Sound: When it is ticked on, the camera will sound a voice alarm when it detects movements or human activities.

Sensitivity:Adjust the detection sensitivity of the camera. 

Rule:Set advanced detection rules like safe zone or line cross alarm. 

*Notice: If the “Enable” option is on and the “Human Detect” is off, the camera will detect all movements, including pets, vehicles, plants, trees, etc. Therefore, we recommend you to active “Human Detect” to reduce false alerts. It shows that “Human Detect” function can reduce 98%-99% of the false alerts.

Advanced Settings of Human Detection

Period: The time period of the detection. 

MD Interval: The interval between 2 human motion movements alerts. 

PostRec: To adjust the length of the video after the camera detects abnormal movements.

Tour: Not applicable. 

Snapshot: When it is ticked on, the camera will take snapshots when it detects abnormal movements. 

Send Email: When it is ticked on, the camera will send alerts to your e-mail address. 

Buzzer: When it is ticked on, the NVR will make beeps alarm after the camera detects abnormal movements. 

Write Log: When it is ticked on, the NVR will note down the alarm record. You can
review the records by following this path: Right-Click Menu > Main Menu > Advanced > LOG. 

FTP Upload:Not Applicable. 

Voice Prompts:To choose the different alarm sounds for the voice prompts. 

Advanced Settings of Face Detection

Period: To Set the time period of detection.

On screen of the monitor with live video , you can view the human faces detected by the cameras. You can easily and quickly get whether the persons detected by the camera are your friends or an intruder. If it is an intruder, the face detection function can help take some actions as soon as possible to protect your safety and property. Please follow the path below to enable the “Face Detection”.

Right-Click Menu > Face Detection

When the cameras detect human faces, the NVR will show you these faces on the right side of the screen like the image above.

How to Set Up Your Email to Receive Alert Notifications

Please follow the paths below to set up the email which you want to get alerts from the security camera system.

Right-Click Menu > Main Menu > Network > Net Service > EMAIL (Please OUBLE CLICK on “EMAIL” to enter the setting interface)

Please enter the required information of your emails in the “User Name” “Sender” and “Receiver”.
If you want to receive the alert notifications with an email different from sender email address, you can input a different email in the “Receiver”.
In the “Password”, you need a 16 digits App password. Let’s take “Gmail “as an example to show you how to get this password.

*Notice: Each e-mail service provider has its own SMTP server, port and encryption. You can find these information easily on Google. In this manual, we will show you these information of several common used e-mail service. camera is lost connection.

How To Get 16-Digit App Password

Enable IMAP access of your e-mail.

Log into your Google account. In “Security” section, find “Signing in to Google”.

If the “2-Step Verification” is off, please enable it.

Enter ”App passwords”. Select the app and device for which you want to generate the app password, or you can name your own app and device, then click “GENERATE”.

You will get a 16 digits password, this is the password you need to use later to set up your e-mail notice in NVR system.

* Notice: You are not able to review the password after you click “DONE” so please note it down or leave this page open.

Rule – Safe Zone & Line Cross Alarm

We can set up a safe zone for our camera.

The camera will only detect or sound alarm when there’s abnormal activities in the safe zone. Click on the “Set” button next to “Rule”.

Choose the safe zone shape which you would like to use. In this user manual, we use rectangle as example.

We can also choose other size such as circle to protect our valuable objects.

When we choose “Tripwire” in stead of “Intrusion”, there will be a line on the screen and the camera will only detect or sound alarm when people cross this line.

Abnormality

In this part, we can set the alarm for other events.

Video Blind: The camera is covered and blinded. 

Video Loss: The camera loses connection with the NVR.

Alarm Input: The alarm input from the cameras.

Video Blind

Channel: Choose the right channel of which you would like to adjust the settings. 

Enable: The master switch of the video blind alarm. 

Sensitivity: Change the sensitivity level of the video blind alarm. 

Period: Set up the time period during which you would like the video blind alarm to function.

Record Channel: Set up the channels which you would like them to record videos after the video blind alarm is triggered.

*e.g. You have set channel 1 and channel 2 to record videos in “video blind” interface. One day, a burglar walks to your front door and your channel 1 camera sounds an alarm. The burglar covers the camera with his jacket and run to your driveway, where your channel 2 camera is installed. When the video blind alarm is triggered by channel 1, because you have set channel 2 to record videos too, so the channel 2 camera will also record videos and you will have videos with multiple angles of this burglar. These evidence will help police officers to catch this criminal.

Snapshot Configuration

In “Snapshot Configuration”, we can set our cameras to take snapshots.

Cycle Capture

When we choose “Cycle Capture”, the camera will take snapshots periodically. For example, the default snapshot period is 64 seconds, it means the camera will automatically take snapshot every 64 seconds.

EMAIL: When this option is on, the NVR will send the snapshots captured by the cameras to your e-mail address. 

FTP: Not applicable. 

Storage: When this option is on, the NVR will store the snapshots captured by the cameras in the HDD. 

Timing Capture

When we choose”Timing Capture”, the camera will take snapshots at the time that we set.

Playback

In this part, we can review the video records taken by the cameras.

There are 6 different playback modes:

Common Playback: You can review all the video records.

Common Playback: You can review all the video records.

*e.g.:
On May 1st, you only have your channel 1 recording videos;
On May 2nd, You have your channel 1 and your channel 2 recording videos;
In “Common Playback”, you will see that there are records on May 1st and on May 2nd;

Dayparting: You can review the video records of the chosen channels during the selected period.

Smart Express: The selected alarm type videos will play at normal speed. The remaining videos will speed up to save your time. 

Smart Search: You can review the video playback of the selected alarm type within the selected time period. 

Face Search: You can review the video playback of detected human faces in the selected time period.

I. What is ANPR

ANPR(Automatic Number Plate Recognition) is a technology that uses optical character recognition on images to read vehicle registration plates. For Milesight, the ANPR algorithm is embedded in cameras, which allows the cameras to recognize, capture and upload license plate images all alone and intelligently.

Installation Angle Considerations

To increase the accuracy of license plate recognition, be sure to install the LPR cameras properly to capture the license plates with the correct image size, lighting conditions and camera angle. The following highlights is the precautions of installation angle：

A: Installing the camera in front of the vehicle (Recommended):

The captured image should be filled with a full width of the vehicle.

B: Installing the camera slightly to the side:

To avoid capturing unnecessary contents in the image, the camera should be installed in a higher position(Vertical angle is less than 30°; Horizontal angle is no more than 30°; Tile angle is less than 5°) to capture the front part of the vehicle.

III. Countries/Regions that support ANPR

Currently, we have three kinds of LPR, including LPR1, LPR2 and LPR3. LPR1 is used in Asian region, LPR2 is for European region, and LPR3 is for Korea. It covers over 70 countries and regions.

IV. How to set ANPR with Milesight Network Cameras

1. Settings

Step1: Go to “Advanced Settings” → “LPR” → “Settings” after log in the web. Check the checkbox “Enable License Plate Recognition”, and you can draw the screen to select the areas interested. There will be shown in the blue box as below.

[License]: A license will be automatically assigned to each device.

[License Status]: This column is used to display the status of the license, “Valid” or “Invalid”.

[Processing Resolution]: Default resolution selected is 1280*720. You can choose different resolution according to the network environment.

[Set LPR Detection Region]: You can set up to 4 ROI areas by drawing the screen. If you choose Normal Mode, it supports configuring the LPR detection regions for the current area. If you choose Advanced Mode(Only for PTZ series), it supports configuring different LPR detection regions for different PTZ presets(Only support Preset 1~4 so far).

Note:

• The optimal interval of Milesight LPR cameras to recognize license plates width is within 100-200 PX.

• For better performance, please choose the appropriate resolution in advance.

[LPR Night Mode]: Achieve the best effect of LPR night recognition by adjusting different parameter levels. You can also schedule the Start Time and End Time, and adjusting the level according to the environment.

Step2: Schedule Settings. You can draw the schedule by clicking [Edit] button. And then click [Save] or [Reset] after finishing the setting.

Step3: Detection Settings and LPR Message Post Settings.

[Detection Trigger]: If you choose “Always”, camera will always detect the license plate. If you choose “Alarm input”, camera will only detect the license plate when Alarm Input is being triggered.

[Confidence Level]: You can set the confidence level from 1 to 10. When the confidence level of the license plate is higher than the set confidence level, it will push the license plate image to the logs interface..

[Repeat Plate Checktime]: Set the time interval for repeatedly reading license plates to effectively avoid duplicate identification of parking vehicles.

[License Plate Serial Format]: Formulate identification rules and automatically filter wrong license plate information to achieve more intelligent and accurate license plate recognition.

[Feature Identification]: Check Region, Direction, ROI_ID or All to enable Features Identification, it will display the corresponding information on the logs interface.

Note: Region detection only supports DACH region.

[LPR Message Post Settings]: Check the checkbox to enable LPR Message Post. It will push information to some third-party devices or software that are compatible with ours. Information can be pushed by RTSP, TCP or HTTP.

Step4: Don’t forget to click [Save] after finishing all settings.

2. List Management

Add the license plates to this interface as Black or White type (Black/White List), and then you can set the alarm action for these license plates in the corresponding black list mode or white list mode interface. When these license plates are detected, the camera will respond to your settings accordingly.

[Add License Plate]: Select the license plate type as black or white, enter the license plate number, click the “Add” button, the license plate number will be added successfully.

[Batch Upload]: You can add a csv file of the license plates you want to add, click the “Browse” button to import the form to this interface, click the “Upload” button, the license plates will be added successfully.

Note:

• You can first download the template as a reference in this interface.

• It allows to add 1000 license plates to Black and White List.

[List Search]: Select Plate Type or directly enter the license plate number, click the “Search” button, the corresponding license plate will be displayed in the list as below.

[Export List]: Click the “Export List” button to export the license plates in the current list as a csv file locally.

[Delete List]: Click the “Delete List” button to delete all the license plate in the current list.

3. Black/ White/ Visitor List Mode

Step1: Check the checkbox to enable Black List Mode.

Step2: Schedule Settings. You can draw the schedule by clicking Edit button.

Step3: Set Alarm Action.

Step4: Set Alarm Settings.

After that, when a license plate marked as “Black”, “White”, “Visitor” is detected, the camera will respond accordingly to your settings.

4. Professional LPR Liveview Interface

Milesight LPR camera supports professional LPR Live View interface. You can see the real-time license plate recognition results.

Note:

(1) Upgrade your device to corresponded firmware version.

Camera: V4X.7.0.74 or above.

(2) If there is no SD card or NAS as the storage space, the snapshots of license plate will be temporarily stored locally on the PC, cleared after logging out, and do not support Smart Search which will be introduced in the next part.

5. Smart Search

Step1: Select Plate Type or directly enter the license plate number.

Step2: Select Start Time and End Time, click the “Search” button to achieve fuzzy search, then the corresponding license plates or license plates containing search keywords will be shown on the logs while the complete video and license plate information will be shown on the left of the interface.

Step3: Set Alarm Action.

There are two methods to backup LPR logs.

(1) Backup license plates you want.

Step1: Tick license plates you want to backup and click “Backup” button ;

Step2: Select the export file type, video stream type and video file format, then click “Export” button.

(2) Backup all.

Step1: Click “Export All” button;

Step2: Select the export file type, video stream type and video file format, then click “Export” button.

You can also click the “Auto Export” button to automatically export the logs to FTP, SMTP or Storage.

Note:

(1) Insert available SD card or add NAS to camera as storage. Otherwise, you can’t check the LPR recording and snapshots.

(2) Upgrade your device to corresponded firmware version.

V. How to set ANPR with Milesight NVRs

1. Preparation

Here are some notes you should notice before using ANPR function.

(1) Insert available HDD or add NAS to NVR as storage. (Otherwise, you can’t check the recording and logs.)

(2) Upgrade your device to corresponded firmware version.

NVR: V7X.9.0.7-r7 or above.

(3) Ensure your device support LPR/ANPR function.

(4) Ensure that NVR can get license plate information. Please set TCP as Post Type which is the default mode. It can be set in Camera web page -> Advanced Settings -> ANPR -> Settings interface.

2. Settings

Step1: Go to “Event”->“ANPR”, select a channel and enable ANPR function.

[License]: A license will be automatically assigned to each device.

[License Status]: This column is used to display the status of the license, “Valid” or “Invalid”.

[Processing Resolution]: Default resolution selected is 1280*720. You can choose different resolution according to the network environment.

Step2: Set ANPR function effective time. You can draw the schedule by clicking “Edit” button. Draw the schedule and then click “OK” or “Apply” after finishing setting.

Step3: Set detection parameters including Detection Trigger, Repeat Plate Checktime and Features identification.

[Detection Trigger]: Always and Alarm Input are available. It will only detect when alarm input is triggered if you select Alarm Input.

[Confidence Level]: You can set the confidence level from 1 to 10. When the confidence level of the license plate is higher than the set confidence level, it will push the license plate image to the logs interface..

[Repeat Plate Checktime]: The same license plate information won’t be received on NVR within the time you set.

[Feature Identification]: Check Region, Direction, ROI_ID or All to enable Features Identification, it will display the corresponding information on the logs interface.

Notes: Region detection only supports DACH region.

Step4: Set the detected ROI region which can be up to 4 regions. License plate will only be detected in the ROI regions.

3. List Management

Make a license plate list for your own NVR ANPR system.

Upload license plates and set them with different license type here. 10000 License plates can be added at most.

Kindly note that the list is exclusive for NVR, working with all LPR cameras you add. It won’t synchronize with the list on camera side.

There are two methods to add license plates:

(1) Add one by one.

Step1: Click the “Add” button.

Step2: Input the license plate and select license type.

Step3: Click OK and then the license plate will be added into the list.

(2) Batch upload by importing template.

Step1: Click Download Template button, select USB device folder and click OK to download Template.

Step2: Input all license type and license plate number as Template shows.

Step3: Click Import button, select the file and click OK to add all license plates into list.

4. Black/White/Visitor List Mode

We provide you three modes for better event management.

Black List Mode: Manage event for license plates in black list.

White List Mode: Manage event for license plates in white list.

Visitor Mode: Manage event for those license plates do not have license type.

Steps for settings:

Step1: Enable Black List Mode/White List Mode/Visitor Mode as your demand.

Step2: Set effective time for the mode to work.

Step3: Set actions you need including Audible Warning, Email Linkage, Event Popup, PTZ Action, Alarm Output and Trigger Channels Record.

Notes:

Do not forget to enable these modes, set effective time and record action for corresponded mode, so that you can get real-time video when license plate is detected (Effective time and record action is enabled by default.). You can refer to How to check ANPR record part for detailed record settings.

5. Professional LPR Liveview Interface

At the beginning, you need to switch the preview mode to ANPR mode.

There are two methods to enter live view ANPR Mode:

(1) Right click the mouse and select ANPR Mode as preview mode.

(2) Select ANPR Mode on live view bottom tool bar.

After entering ANPR mode, the real-time license plate information will be shown on the left of the interface once it get detected.

License plate information includes Plate Snapshot, Channel Name, License Plate Number, Detected Time and Plate Type.

Two License types:

No License plates type will be shown if the license plate does not exist in Black/White list. However, you can right click the license plate information to quick add it to Black/White list or delete it from Black/White list.

Besides, you can click the license plate information to check the latest X seconds (10s~20s) video.

Notes:

• X = 10 + Pre Record Time

   You can set Pre Record Time in Storage -> Video Record -> Record Settings interface.

• Make sure that HDD is available on NVR and correct record settings is made, so that you can check the record on live view. Please refer to How to check ANPR record part for detailed record settings.

• Make sure that NVR can get the license plate information. Please set TCP as Post Type which is the default mode. It can be set in Camera web page -> Advanced Settings -> ANPR -> Settings interface.

6. Set/Check ANPR Record

Before checking recording files, please make sure that you have proceed correct settings to make record action work.

(1) Set Recording

Step1: Set Smart Analysis as Record Type in Storage -> Video Record -> Record Schedule interface.

Step2: Enable Black List Mode / White List Mode / Visitor Mode as your demand.

Step3: Set Effective time and Trigger Channels Record action of your selected mode (Full effective time and trigger channel record are set by default).

Then NVR will record when license plate is detected.

Notes:

Generally, record action is triggered by event. If you just enable ANPR function without enabling Black List/White List/Visitor modes nor setting record action, it means you just enable the function while record action is not set. Then no record will be triggered. So it is necessary to do all above three steps if you want to trigger record action.

(2) Check recording

In Playback

Step1: Entering Playback -> Event Playback -> Smart Analysis interface.

Step2: Input corresponded information and click search button to search.

Step3: Click record to play the video searched out.

In Live View

Click the license plate information to check the latest X seconds (10s~20s) video.

Notes:

• X = 10 + Pre Record Time

   You can set Pre Record Time in Storage -> Video Record -> Record Settings interface.

• Make sure that HDD is available on NVR and correct record settings is made, so that you can check the record on live view. Please refer to How to check ANPR record part for detailed record settings.

7. Check/Backup ANPR Logs

(1) Check ANPR logs

Step1: Search on Smart Analysis interface.

Step2: Input corresponded information and click search button to search.

Then you will get a whole ANPR logs list.

License plate snapshot will be shown on the logs list while the complete image video and license plate information will be shown on the left of the interface.

Step3: Click the Play button to play the video

(2) Backup ANPR logs

Two methods are available after searching ANPR logs out.

Backup license plates you want.

Step1: Tick license plates you want to backup and click backup button.

Step2: Select the export file type, video stream type and video file format, then click export button.

Backup all.

Step1: Click backup all button.

Step2: Select the export file type, video stream type and video file format, then click export button.

Then you will get corresponded file as selected export file type.

VI. How to set ANPR with Milesight CMS

1. Preparation

(1) Refer to the NVR section

(2) Upgrade your CMS to corresponded version.

2. Settings

Step1: Add NVR to CMS.

Step2: Go to “Device Config”, select a NVR and the channel, then enable ANPR function.

[License]: A license will be automatically assigned to each device.

[License Status]: This column is used to display the status of the license, “Valid” or “Invalid”.

[Set LPR Detection Region]: You can set up to 4 ROI areas by drawing the screen. License plate will only be detected in the ROI regions.

[Processing Resolution]: Default resolution selected is 1280*720. You can choose different resolution according to the network environment.

Step2: Set ANPR function effective time. You can draw the schedule by clicking “Edit” button. Draw the schedule and then click “OK” or “Apply” after finishing setting.

Step3: Set detection parameters including Detection Trigger, Repeat Plate Checktime and Features identification.

[Detection Trigger]: Always and Alarm Input are available. It will only detect when alarm input is triggered if you select Alarm Input.

[Confidence Level]: You can set the confidence level from 1 to 10. When the confidence level of the license plate is higher than the set confidence level, it will push the license plate image to the logs interface..

[Repeat Plate Checktime]: The same license plate information won’t be received on NVR within the time you set.

[Feature Identification]: Check Region, Direction, ROI_ID or All to enable Features Identification, it will display the corresponding information on the logs interface.

3. List Management

Make a license plate list for your own NVR ANPR system.

Upload license plates and set them with different license type here. 10000 plates can be added at most.

Kindly note that the list is exclusive for NVR, working with all LPR cameras you added. It won’t synchronize with the list on camera side.

There are two methods to add license plates:

(1) Add one by one.

Step1: Click the “Add” button.

Step2: Input the license plate and select license type.

Step3: Click OK and then the license plate will be added into the list.

(2) Batch uploadadding by importing template.

Step1: Click Download Template, select folder and click OK to download Template.

Step2: Input all license type and license plate number as Template shows.

Step3: Click Import button, select the file and click OK to add all license plates into list.

4. Black/White/Visitor List Mode

We provide you three modes for better event management, which is based on two license types.

Black List Mode: Manage event for license plates in black list.

White List Mode: Manage event for license plates in white list.

Visitor Mode: Manage event for those license plates do not have license type.

Steps for settings:

Step1: Enable Black List Mode/White List Mode/Visitor Mode as your demand.

Step2: Set effective time which means Mode works during that.

Step3: Set actions you need including Audible Warning, Email Linkage, Event Popup, PTZ Action, Alarm Output.

5. Set ANPR Record

Step1: Set Smart Analysis as Record Type in Device -> Select NVR -> Record Schedule interface.

Step2: Enable Black List Mode / White List Mode / Visitor Mode as your demand.

Step3: Set Effective time and Trigger Channels Record action of your selected mode(Full effective time and trigger channel record are set by default).

Then NVR will record when license plate is detected.

Notes:

6. Check/Backup ANPR Logs

License plate snapshot will be shown on the logs list while the complete image video and license plate information will be shown on the left of the interface.

Step3: Click Play button to play the video.

(2) Backup ANPR logs

Two methods are available after searching ANPR logs out.

Backup license plates you want.

Step1: Tick license plates you want to backup and click backup button

Step2: Select the Export File Path, File Type, Video stream type and Video file format, then click export button.

Backup all.

Step1: Click backup all button

Step2: Select the export file type, video stream type and video file format, then click export button.

Then you will get corresponded file as selected export file type.

VII. How to set ANPR with Milesight VMS Enterprise

1. Preparation

① Refer to the NVR section

② Upgrade your VMS Enterprise to corresponded version.

VMS Enterprise: V1.3.0.0 or above

③ Only the LPR cameras added by MSSP protocol support ANPR function for VMS Enterprise.

④ Make sure that VMS Enterprise can get the license plate information. Please set TCP as Post Type which is the default mode. It can be set in the Smart Analysis -> ANPR Settings -> Detection Settings interface.

2. Detection Setting

Here the configuration of the camera web side will be automatically obtained. If the camera web side is not configured, you can configure it in the interface of VMS. After the configuration is completed, it will be synchronized to the camera web side.

Step1: Select a camera in the devices list tree, then click  button to enable Detection.

[License]: Only LPR2 and LPR3 need to enter the license to activate the LPR function.

[License Status]: Show present license status, including Valid and Invalid. When the license status changes to be valid, the camera can start detecting the license plates.

[Process Resolution]: Resolution of the stream for LPR analysis, including 1920*1280, 1280*720.

Step2: You can click  button to enable LPR Night Mode. The LPR Night Mode supports the optimal LPR night recognition effect by adjusting different parameter levels. You can choose Auto Mode which can automatically switch to night mode according to illumination intensity, or choose Customize Mode to set effective time manually.

Step3: You can set up to 4 ROI areas by drawing the screen. If you choose Normal Mode, it supports configuring the LPR detection regions for the current area. If you choose Advanced Mode(Only for PTZ series), it supports configuring different LPR detection regions for different PTZ presets(Only support Preset 1~4 so far).

Step4: Schedule Settings. You can draw the schedule by clicking  button, and then click  button after finishing the settings.

[Detection Trigger]: If you choose “Always”, camera will always detect the license plates. If you choose “Alarm Input”, camera will only detect the license plates during Alarm Input is being triggered.

[Confidence Level]: You can set the confidence level from 1 to 10. When the confidence level of the license plate is higher than the set confidence level, it will push the license plate image to the ANPR Search interface.

[Repeat Plate Checktime]: Set the time interval for repeatedly reading the license plates to effectively avoid duplicate identification of parking vehicles.

[License Plate Serial Format]: Formulate identification rules and automatically filter wrong license plates information to achieve more intelligent and accurate license plate recognition.

[Features Identification]: Check All, Direction, Direction Region or Region(Only for LPR2) to enable Features Identification, and the corresponding information will be displayed in the ANPR Search interface.

[Enable LPR Message Post]: Click  button to enable LPR Message Post. It will push information to some third-party devices or software that are compatible with ours. 

[Post Type]: Information can be pushed by RTSP, TCP or HTTP.

[HTTP Method]: There are two HTTP push methods: Post and Get.

[Snapshot Type]: Three kinds of snapshot can be chosen: All, License Plate and Full Snapshot. When you choose All, License Plate Snapshot and Full Snapshot will be pushed.

Note: This option is available just for Post HTTP Method.

[HTTP Notification URL]: The camera can use the API URL to send LPR information to other devices when the license plate is recognized. The API URL format is defined by the HTTP Server.

[User Name]: User name for HTTP Server.

[Password]: Password for HTTP Server.

[Camera LPR Port]: This option is available for TCP Post type.

Step6: Click  button to apply all settings.

3.ANPR Preview

After enabling Detection in the ANPR Settings -> Detection Setting interface, you can click  button in the right Function Panel, and the real-time license plate information will be shown on the right of the interface once it is detected.

The license plate information includes Plate Snapshot, Device Name, IP, License Plate Number, Detected Time and Plate Type. 

Two License types: 

—- License plate from Black List

 —- License plate from White List

No License plate type will be shown if the license plate does not exist in Black/White list.

You can right click on the ANPR notification push window to pop up a menu, and choose to add the license plate to White or Black List in the VMS system. If the license plate has already existed in the White or Black List of VMS system, then you can choose to change its type or delete the license plate from White or Black List.

Besides, you can click the license plate information to check the 20s video. (20s = the pre 10s + the post 10s of the license plate event)

Note:

Make sure that correct record schedule settings is made or the ANPR event rules are set to trigger recording, so that you can check the record in the ANPR Preview Panel. You can refer to 7(1) for operation steps.

4. List Management

Add the license plates as Black/White List as needed in the interface, and the license plates without the set types are the visitors. After enabling license plate recognition, VMS Enterprise will automatically receive the recognition result sent by the Milesight cameras and compare it with the black and white list added in VMS Enterprise.

1) Add license plates

You can choose either of the below two ways to add the license plates. 

a. Add license plates one by one 

Step1: Click  button to pop up a Add Plate window, then input the license plate and select the license plate type as black or white list, and click 

  button.

Step2: Repeat the Step1 to add other license plates manually.

b. Batch import license plates 

Step1: Click  button to pop up a Import Plates window. The imported file must be filled in according to the specified format. You can click  button to download the template.

Step2: After filling in, click  button to import the plates file, then click 

  button.

After successful import, you can click  button to modify the corresponding license plate and plate type.

Note: 

The format of the imported license plates file must be csv. 

The CSV must be saved in UTF-8 encoding format.

A license plate can’t be repeatedly added to the plate list. 

Maximum quantity of license plates added in the list is 10000. 

2) Search license plates

You can select the plate types including All, Black List and White List, or directly enter the license plate number, and click the “Search” button, then the corresponding license plates will be displayed in the list below. 

Note: The text searched is a case-insensitive contiguous string.

In addition, you can click  button to refresh the license plate list. And click  button to cancel the filter for the license plate list.

3) Export license plates

You can click  button to export the license plates in the current list to a csv form locally. If you filter the license plate list, only the filtered list will be exported.

4) Delete license plates

Click  button to delete all the license plates in the current list. If you filter the license plate list, only the filtered list will be deleted. You can also click  button to delete the corresponding license plate.

5. Black List/White List/Visitor Detection

Here you can set effective detection schedules for different detection modes, including Black List Detection, White List Detection and Visitor Detection. Only when the detection is enabled and the corresponding schedule is set, the corresponding detection results will be saved and can be viewed in the ANPR Search interface.

Step1: Click  button to enable the function, and then click  button to edit the schedule.

Step2: Click  button to apply the settings.

Step3: If you want to set related actions for ANPR trigger, you can refer to Method2 of 7(1) for operation steps. Then the set actions will be triggered once the corresponding license plate type is detected.

Step4: Once the ANPR event rules which you set take effect, you can check the ANPR event information in the Logs -> Event Logs interface. The event logs contain the event information about Date/Time, Event, Source, Action, Target and Details.

You can set filter condition as you need. In addition, if there is a recording video information about event, then you can click  button to check the event video.

6.ANPR Search

When the Black List/White List/Visitor Detection is enabled and the corresponding schedule is set, and the storage disk is enabled, you can view the corresponding detection results in the ANPR Search interface.

Step1: Check the cameras in the devices list tree, and select the plate type or directly enter the license plate number. 

Step2: Select Start Time and End Time, and click  button. Then the related license plate information will be displayed as below.

Click  button to show Thumbnail Mode.

Click  button to switch to List Mode.

Step3: Click on the thumbnail photo in Thumbnail Mode or license plate row in List Mode under the searched results, then the license plate details will be shown as below. If there is a recording video about the license plate recognition, then you can click  button to play the video or click 

  button to play the video in the playback interface.

Note:

Make sure that correct record schedule settings is made or the ANPR event rules are set to trigger recording, so that you can check the record in the ANPR Search interface. You can refer to 7(1) for operation steps.

Step4: You can click  button to backup the ANPR files you want to a local folder.

Step5: After setting the backup file destination, type and format, click  button to start the file backup. You can click  button to check task backup situation as below.

The backup file of Plate List is csv format.

7. Set/Check ANPR Record

Before checking recording files, please make sure that you have proceed correct settings to make record action work.

Note: 

In the Settings -> System & Servers -> Server Settings -> Storage Management interface, make sure you enable the storage disk you are interested in to store recordings and images of VMS system.

(1) Set Recording

There are two methods to set the ANPR record.

Method1: The record schedule settings.

Step1: Select a camera in the devices list tree in the Settings -> Devices -> Camera Record Schedule -> Schedule interface, then click  button to enable Continuous Recording.

Step2: Set the Schedule, and then click  button to apply the settings.

Method2: Set the ANPR event rules to trigger recording.

Step1: Click  button to add the ANPR event rules in the Settings -> System & Servers -> Event Rule Settings interface.

Step2: Then select the trigger type as ANPR, set the source of trigger, and select the detection mode as your demand. And set the schedule and the Do Recording action. After setting the event rules, click  button.

Step3: Then the event rules will be added to the event rule list. Click   button to apply the event rules. The recording is triggered when the corresponding license plate type is detected. 

Note:

Make sure the corresponding detection mode is enabled and the detection schedule is set. You can refer to 5 for operation steps.

(2) Check Recording

a. Playback 

Step1: Select the camera in the Playback interface, click  button to select the time. 

Step2: You can check Show Event Mask to select the ANPR event, then the ANPR event videos will be displayed in the corresponding color.

Step3: Select the continuous recording or ANPR event recordings searched out on the time bar to play.

b. ANPR Preview

Click the license plate information to check the 20s video. (20s = the pre 10s + the post 10s of the license plate event)

c. ANPR Search

Click  button to check the latest 20 seconds video or click 

  button to play the video in the playback interface. (20s = the pre 10s + the post 10s of the license plate event)

INTRODUCTION

Demand Analysis

In traditional CCTV systems, all the moving objects in the picture will trigger the perimeter alarm, which may generate a lot of false alarms. Users have to waste a lot of time dealing with false alarms, and the alarm is unreliable. In addition, when the target needs to be found in the video, it needs to be manually searched by video playback, which is time consuming and laborious, and it is easy to lose key targets, which is very inconvenient.

After solving the basic monitoring and video problems, users need to receive more accurate alarms and to have a more convenient target search function to better use the monitoring system.

Solution

Some false alarms can be filtered by using a thermal camera, vibration optical fiber, radar, and other equipment. The cost of the whole system is too high, and it cannot meet the requirement of finding the target quickly afterwards.

With the development of artificial intelligence, target classification can be realized directly based on the video screen, and false alarm reductions and target retrieval can be provided, which can provide users with very cost-effective schemes.

System Architecture

Hikvision’s AcuSense Series of cameras and NVRs can prevent false alarms by identifying humans and vehicles when defining line crossing detection and triggering an alarm when only the selected object type (human and/or vehicle) is detected.

To set up False Alarm reductions and target classification without additional products, an AcuSense NVR and/or AcuSense cameras are required.

Function Description

Target Classification

By upgrading the hardware of conventional products, Hikvision has loaded artificial intelligence technology into the chip of the equipment. The equipment can classify and identify the objects appearing in the picture such as humans, vehicles, rainwater, light, leaves, animals, etc. Object classification is the basis for realizing false alarm and key target alarms.

Through target classification, alarms caused by animals, light, rain, leaves, or other objects can be filtered out, and only alarms triggered by human bodies and vehicles will be received. This is the function of a false alarm reduction.

In addition, in the face of a large number of monitoring video data, when searching key information such as people or cars, the target retrieval function is used. The device will record human body and vehicle information automatically, and solve the issue that video playback is time-consuming and easy to miss.

1. Go to Configuration > Event > Smart Event > Line Crossing Detection in the local interface.
2. Use the pull-down list to select the camera to configure.
3. Check the Enable Local Smart Analysis checkbox to have the local NVR perform the smart analysis with a non-AcuSense camera. The NVR will acquire only the camera stream for intelligent event analysis, and the NVR will not acquire the camera’s smart event configuration. Up to four 8 MP non- AcuSense cameras are supported for false alarm reductions, and sub-stream resolution of these cameras have to be under WD1 (960*576). If this box is unchecked, the AcuSense camera (required in this case) will do the analysis. The NVR will acquire smart event configuration and alarm information from the camera.

NOTE: The NVR and camera configuration screens will slightly differ. This document uses the NVR configuration screens as examples.

1. Check the Enable Line Crossing Detection checkbox to activate line crossing detection.
2. Check one or both Detection Target checkboxes to set the type of object to trigger the alarm:

• Human: Alarm will be sent only if triggered by human(s).
• Vehicle: Alarm will be sent only if triggered by vehicle(s).
• No Box Checked: Alarm will be sent by any object(s).

1. Click the Area Settings tab.
2. Use the pull-down menu to set the line number to define (1-4). Up to four line crossing lines can be defined. The target classification can be set separately for each line.
3. Drag a line in the live view area with the left mouse button; release to end the line. Select line with left mouse button to move or resize the line.
4. Configure the line by clicking on one of the buttons:

• Max. Size*: Drag with the left mouse button to define a rectangle representing the maximum object size that will be detected crossing the defined line.
• Min. Size*: Drag with the left mouse button to define a rectangle representing the minimum object size that will be detected crossing the defined line.
• Draw Area: Drag with the left mouse button to define the total area to monitor.
• Clear: Click Clear, then click Save, to delete all line settings.

1. Use the pull-down menu to select the line crossing direction that will trigger the alarm:

• A<->B: Alarm will be triggered if object moves across the defined line from A side to B side or from B side to A side.
• A->B: Alarm will be triggered if object moves across the defined line from A side to B side.

Available only when configuring through the local NVR; setting will not appear if configuring through the camera.

• B->A: Alarm will be triggered if object moves across the defined line from B side to A side.

1. Set line crossing Sensitivity (0-100). The sensitivity value = 100 – S1/ST x 100, where S1 is the area of the target that has crossed the line and ST is the actual area of the target. The higher the sensitivity, the easier it is to trigger the alarm.
2. Click Save to save the line crossing settings.
3. Repeat for additional lines, up to four total.
4. Click Save.

1. Click the Arming Schedule tab to display the Arming Schedule section.
2. Drag the left mouse button to draw/modify blue timelines to define the times and days that the defined alarm will be active. The line may be resized and/or re-positioned using the mouse.

NOTE: Click X Delete to delete a highlighted blue timeline.

Click the HU Delete All to delete all of the defined blue timelines.

1. Click Save to save the schedule settings.

Configuring Linkage Method

1. Click the Linkage Method tab to display the Linkage section.
2. Check the alarm action checkboxes you wish to configure:

• Normal Linkage

• Send Email – An alarm will cause the system to send an e-mail notification to the pre­defined e-mail address.
• Notify Surveillance Center – An alarm will cause notification to be sent to the pre-defined Surveillance Center.
• Upload to FTP/Memory Card – An alarm will cause the system to upload a notification to a pre-defined FTP site or memory card.
• White Light Flashing (Strobe Light and Audio Alarm/SL models only) – An alarm will cause the camera’s white light to flash (strobe).
• Audible Warning (Strobe Light and Audio Alarm/SL models only) – An alarm will cause the system to generate an audible alarm.

• Trigger Recording^[1]

• A1 – An alarm will cause this camera to start recording.

1. Click Save to save the alarm action settings.

Configuring White Light Output (Strobe Light and Audio Alarm/SL Model Only)

1. Go to Configuration > Event > Basic Event > White Light Alarm Output.
2. Set Flashing Duration from 1 to 60 seconds.
3. Set Flashing Frequency to High (interval 0.6 seconds), Medium (interval 1 second), or Low (interval 1.5 seconds).
4. Click Save to save the settings.

For DS-9664N/-/8 local interface, file type must be specified with search conditions.

NOTE: AcuSense NVRs can switch between picture and video on the search results page without having to perform the search again.

6. Set the search choices:

• Select the target image in the red box area on the upper left corner, and listed picture will be a close-up view of the target.
• Select the source image in the red box area on the upper left corner, and listed picture will be the original picture.
• Select video in the red box on the upper right corner, and listed files will all be video files.
• Select picture in the red box on the upper right corner, and listed files will all be picture files.
• Select All, and the images and videos will be displayed together.

False Alarms Search

AcuSense NVRs can display all false alarms by using the All Files search (set event type to “False Alarm”). False alarms are generated by objects that approach being mistaken for a human or vehicle.

1. Add the camera in the iVMS-4200 Device Management section.

1. View the triggered alarm on the iVMS-4200 Alarm Event interface. Alarm detail information will be labeled Human or Vehicle, as shown in the figure below.

NOTE: The Target Type shown on the iVMS-4200 is the same as the Detection Type set in the configuration interface. Alarm information triggered by the unchecked category will be filtered and will not be displayed on the iVMS-4200.

1) Set Detection Type to Human, then the iVMS-4200 will display only Human target type alarm information.

2 Set Detection Type to Vehicle, then the iVMS-4200 will display only Vehicle target type alarm information.

Viewing Alarm on GUI Interface

The NVR’s local GUI interface cannot classify Humans and Vehicles in this version.

The current mechanism: after checking Smart Detection, the GUI interface will display all alarm pictures without classification between humans and vehicles (this feature will be optimized by the end of the year).

1. Add the NVR on the iVMS-4200 Device Management interface.

2. View the triggered alarm on the iVMS-4200 Alarm Event interface. Alarm detail information will label the target category as Human or Vehicle, as shown in the figure below.

The NVR alarm upload via iVMS-4200 is the same as for a network camera. The Target Type shown on the iVMS-4200 is consistent with the Detection Type set on the configuration interface. Unchecked categories will be filtered out and will not be displayed on the iVMS-4200.

Known Issue

When adding network cameras to the NVR, the NVR will issue a 24-hour arming schedule to the camera by default. After the camera is connected, configuring an arming schedule on the NVR will affect only whether the alarm is reported and displayed on this NVR, but the camera setting time will not change. If other terminals access the camera, the alarm will still be received.

• The proposal altitude of installation distance is 3 to 5 meters, equipment bow angle is approximately 10°, specific adjustments are according to the environment.
• The maximum monitoring distance depends on the lens’ focal length. The table of the maximum monitoring distance for the specific focal length is as follows:

• The monitoring area cannot be covered by nearby objects. Do not shoot backlight at the installation position, which will affect the image effect. The following shows a perimeter environment installation:

• Recommended Scenario:

• Try to avoid getting too close. It is recommended that the target be more than three meters away from the camera. For example, avoid scenes with lots of trees nearby.
• If there is a mirror in the environment, the mirror image or shadow can easily lead to false alarm

triggering.

• Adjust the camera angle during installation to avoid interference from high brightness lights or headlights.
• Domes are not recommended for outdoor scenes, IR reflect can seriously affect the accuracy of the alarm, as shown below:

– Heavy traffic scenes such as station, airport, theater, etc., will generate a lot of perimeter alarms, so it is suggested to avoid these types of scenes.

– Avoid situations where personnel targets are too large. AcuSense NVRs can analyze target sizes between 1/16 and 1/2 of the image’s vertical size. For example, if the camera’s resolution is 1080p, the vertical size of the target should be between 64 and 540 pixels.

In the following scene, the target takes up almost the whole picture. Adjusting the camera angle so that a targets is detected from a far distance so that it appears a suitable size is suggested.

Using Region Entrance/Exiting Detection instead of Intrusion/Line Crossing Detection is recommended for region intrusion of fixed scenarios.

2．How to Use 5G AI Camer

1) How to Connect 5G AI Camera

1. If you need to use the 5G network, you can use a SIM card to connect to Cellular for your camera.

Note: 

1) As long as the SIM card is inserted and cellular is enabled, it will consume the data of the SIM card. If there is live video streaming, it will consume more data.

2) 5G AI Camera support 5G, 4G and 3G networks.

2. If you don’t need to use the 5G network, you can connect to the camera through LAN. And PoE are supported for 5G AI Camera.

3. After completing the basic settings of 5G AI Camera, you can access the camera through the Milesight P2P or VPN using 5G network without connecting the network cable.

Note: 

1) If you use the 5G camera for the first time, it is necessary to connect the camera through the network port to access the web page of the camera for basic configurations.

2) For Milesight CMS, M-Sight Pro and Milesight VMS Enterprise, we recommend to add 5G AI Camera through P2P when using 5G networks, which is more convenient and simple.

3) What’s P2P?

P2P technology is convenient, simple, stable and reliable. It does not require a fixed IP address, and the connection of camera through MAC address won’t change because of the network environment. P2P technology is very convenient and practical for the wireless network transmission of 5G AI Camera.

4. Coming Soon: 5G AI Camera can be added and managed on Milesight back-end or Third-party via VPN.

① Milesight CMS

For Milesight CMS, it supports adding 5G camera via P2P using 5G network, and then the parameter of 5G can be configured.

Step 1: After logging into the Milesight CMS, go to “Management“→ “Devices“→ “Add Devide Manually“, and you can add 5G AI Camera by Mac Address when selecting P2P connection type.

Step 2: Go to “Devices Config“ → “5G Camera“ → “System“ → “Network“ → “Cellular“, You can set the cellular settings and check the cellular status and on CMS as shown below.

② Milesight VMS Enterprise

For Milesight VMS Enterprise, it supports adding 5G camera via P2P using 5G network.

Step 1: After logging into the Milesight VMS Enterprise, go to “Settings“→ “Devices Management“→ “Add Device“→ “Add Manually“, and you can add 5G AI Camera by Mac Address when selecting P2P protocol.

Note: VMS Enterprise does not support 5G and IoT configuration currently.

③ M-Sight Pro

For M-sight Pro APP, it supports adding 5G camera via P2P using 5G network.

Step 1: After logging into the M-Sight Pro, go to “Device Manager“→ “Add Camera“, and you can add 5G AI Camera by Mac Address when selecting P2P protocol. Or you can connect the 5G AI Camera by P2P QR Code.

Note: The P2P QR Code of the 5G AI Camera is activated on the camera Web by default.

4．How to Configure 5G AI Camera

Step 1: Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot at the bottom of the camera, as shown below:

① It supports Nano SIM for SIM card slot.

② For 5G camera, the SD card slot is inside the camera, as shown below:

Step 2: After logging into the web, go to “Settings“→ “Network“→ “Basic“→ “Cellular“, you can check the cellular status and set the cellular settings here, as shown below.

Step3: Fill in the information provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to Cellular Settings interface, then click “Save” to access the network successfully.

Note: 

①For some Internet Service Providers, users can access the 5G network by simply inserting the SIM card directly, without additional configuration.

②As long as the SIM card is inserted and cellular is enabled, it will consume the data of the SIM card. If there is live video streaming, it will consume more data.

Please refer to the meaning of the options as follows：

Step4: After connecting to the network successfully, you can check the cellular status information on Cellular Status interface, as shown below.

Step 5: Set the schedule, the 5G network will take effect according to the schedule you set.

Step 6: After configuring the cellular settings, you also need to complete other basic configurations of the camera if needed, such as events, recordings, etc.

Step 7: After completing the basic settings of the camera, you can access the camera using 5G network without connecting the network cable.

Smart Search by Face Detection

1. From the Main Menu click AI

2. Click Smart Search > Face Detection

3. Use the drop-down box to select the Channel to search

4. Use the Start Time / End Time fields to enter a date range for the search

5. Click ‘Smart Search’ once parameters have been set

6. The search results will be displayed

7. Double click any entry to begin playback

8. Use the buttons above the search result to Export and Backup any entries

Smart Search by IVS

1. Enter the Main Menu

• Right click at live view then select “Main Menu”

2. Click Smart Detection

3. Click Smart Search – on the left side of the screen

You can search recorded SMD, Human Face, and IVS data.

This guide will use IVS but the procedure is similar.

4. Use the drop-down menu to select the Channel # to search and the Type of IVS rule to search for

5. Click the Begin and End time to enter a time range for the search

6. Click Search

7. The Search results will appear in the center of the screen

The results can be displayed in Graph or List (shown below)

Both will show the Event Type, Time and include a snapshot (if enabled)

8. You can quickly playback the Event by

Graph View: Double click the Event

List View: Click the icon under “Playback”

9. To Export an event use the checkbox to select the Events you wish to Export then click Export int he bottom right of the screen. A USB drive must be inserted in the unit to Export the files to.

How To Setup Intrusion Detection

9. Use the dropdown box to change the Rule Type to “Intrusion”

10. Click the Pencil icon to draw the Intrusion rule

11. The Channel will fullscreen.

Left click anywhere inside the video frame to begin drawing the detection area for the Intrusion.

12. You can use the Intrusion menu that appears for additional rule settings:

People Counting

Description

1. From the Main Menu click AI

2. Click Parameters > Smart Plan

3. Click the People Counting icon to enable.

4. The icon will turn blue when selected.

Click Apply to save

5. Click Parameters > People Counting

6. Use the drop-down box to select the channel.

Click the toggle button to enable

7. Use the drop-down box next to Rule Type to select from the People Counting feature options. There are two options:

• People Counting
• In Area No.

8. Click the RULE button to create the area and rule for the People Counting

9. You can enter a name for the rule in the Name field

Click Draw Area or Draw Rule to create/edit the current rules.

Click the  icon to delete the rule.

10. To create the detection area start by clicking ‘Draw Area’ then left click and drag in the video frame to draw the area.

11. To create the detection line start by clicking ‘Draw Rule’ then left click and drag in the video frame to draw the line.

The arrow in the line will denote which direction will count as a ‘Enter’ or ‘Exit’

12. Click OK to save the Area and Rule Drawings

13. Click ‘Setting’ next to Alarm to configure additional settings for People Counting

14. Use the top part of the menu to configure the settings for the On Screen Display Overlay for People Counting

OSD Overlay: Toggle to enable or disable overlay. Press the ‘Clear’ button to clear the current People Counting values

Enter No.: Toggle to enable or disable the overlay for counting people who Enter

Leave No.: Toggle to enable or disable the overlay for counting people who Leave

15. Use the lower part of the menu to configure the parameters for the People Counting alerts and installation configuration

16. To create a schedule for People Counting click the ‘Setting’ button next to Period

18. Configure the alarm output for when the People Counting alarms are met (Enter/Exit Number, Stranded)

How To Setup Tripwire

7. The created rule will appear in the list

9. Click the Pencil icon to draw the Tripwire rule

10. The Channel will fullscreen.

Left click anywhere inside the video frame to begin drawing the Trip line, then use the mouse to draw the trip line.

11. The Tripwire menu will appear

• Name: A name can be applied to the rule
• Direction: Both, A To B, B To A

Click  icon to set the Target Filter (maximum and minimum size size for Objects to follow rule)

Click  icon to clear the current rule

Once the tripwire rule settings have been created click OK

12. Click the  icon to set the Trigger settings when the IVS Tripwire rule is engaged.

13. The Trigger menu will appear

Once the trigger rule settings have been created click OK

14. Once all Tripwire settings have been configured, Click Apply in the lower right of the screen to save all changes
