Purpose: There is no speaker nor a microphone in the DVR recorder. In order to record the sound on the system, please know that you need to buy a microphone and a speaker and install them on the DVR’s audio ports (Audio In and Audio Out).

Note: Each camera needs an individual audio-in port. (If the DVR has only one audio-in port, then only the camera on channel #1 can record with sound)

Here are the steps for you:

Make sure your DVR has RCA red audio cord at the back of the DVR.

Hook up an external microphone to DVR by audio cable.

The microphone should be put next to one camera so that that camera‘s image and sound are synchronized.

Connect a long audio cable to the microphone and DVR‘s audio-in port. Also, you can also connect a speaker to the audio-out port of the DVR.

Finally, you could go to the DVR Settings–Schedule–Camera No.–Advance–Record Audio to enable the Record Audio.

Note:

If the camera comes with a built-in microphone, the ‘Audio‘ configuration should be ‘Camera‘.

If you install an external microphone for the camera, the ‘Audio‘ configuration should be ‘Local‘.

Purpose: If you have no NVR system and just would like to have the IP camera as a standalone camera, it is OK for the live view on the APP. Only the POE cameras with built-in SD card slot can store recordings.

Here are the steps for you:

If you confirm that the Live view of a camera is enough for you, and please kindly follow the below guide to set the camera up on the mobile phone.

First of all, please make sure the POE camera is activated. If not, please refer to this instruction before going ahead:

Please directly connect the cameras to your router. If your router is the standard router, you need to have an adapter(12V/1A) to power the camera on, then connect it to the router with the ethernet cable. If your router is a built-in POE switch, you can directly connect it with the ethernet cable without an additional power supply.

Access the camera’s settings page and set up the camera for remote access.
2.1 Access the camera on a computer browser by following this instruction:
Annke Vision — How to Access the Web interface of ANNKE PoE Cameras via Browser? (Without NVR)
Navigate to [Configuration–Network–Basic Settings–TCP/IP], check the box DHCP then click Save.

2.2 Navigate to [Configuration–Network–Advanced Settings–Platform Access], set Platform Access Mode as Guarding Vision, check the box Enable, keep Server IP as default, input/create a verification code in the box Verification Code by following the note below the box, then click Save.
Then the box Register Status should become ‘Online‘, which means the camera is ready from remote access.

Note: If it still shows ‘Offline‘, please navigate to another setting page and get back to check the latest network status.

Please download the APP Annke Vision and finish the account registration. Click the Add button to add the cameras to your APP, and you could directly scan the QR code on the camera label.

Note: If there is no QR code on the label for the camera, please try to input the SN manually on the APP.

After that, please follow the steps to add the camera to the APP:

Then, the APP will ask you to activate the system by creating the password and the verification code.
Note: The password and verification code is very important for the camera.

Finally, you could view the camera’s image on the APP as below.

Introduction:

To remotely access the NVR system on the phone APP or computer software, the cloud network status of the NVR system must be ‘Online’.

For the new version, right-click the mouse on the monitor and go to ‘Fast Network’ to check the cloud network status.

If the system is ‘Offline‘, please refer to this article to make it ‘Online’.

Steps:

1. Make sure the NVR system is connected to the router directly by network cable.

2. Go to ‘Network Setup‘ and make sure ‘DHCP‘ is enabled.

Tip: Reboot the NVR system after checking the above network settings.

If the system is still offline, go to ‘Network Setup‘ to disable ‘DHCP’. Then enter ‘8.8.8.8‘ on ‘Preferred DNS‘. After that, reboot the system and check if the system is ‘online’.

If the system is offline even after the DNS server is changed, please try the instructions below.

1. Change another network cable for the system.

2. Go to ‘System Setup→System Admin→Factory Settings‘ to reset the system.

3. Connect the system to another router if you have one.

Purpose: If you want to remotely access the Annke system via phone app or computer software, the system’s network status must be Online. Below is the method to make the Annke New Series system online.

Here are the steps:

Make sure the receiver is connected to a router via ethernet cable. You can try to change another ethernet cable and another router port to check.

Go to Setting- Network- General, tick on ‘DHCP‘ and “Obtain DNS automatically“, then click ‘Apply’.

Go to ANNKE Vision, tick on ‘Enable‘. Please make sure the Verification Code must be set up, and we suggest don’t check the Stream encryption.

If you find the above setting still cannot make your system online, please go back to Setting- Network- General to disable ‘DHCP‘ and “Obtain DNS automatically“, input ‘8.8.8.8‘ in Preferred DNS server, then click on Apply to save the settings. After that, you can Reboot the system to see if the system becomes online.

Restore the system to the factory default settings and activate it again from the beginning.
