There are two advisable solutions to extend the WiFi just around your house’s outdoor perimeter within 100 meters (300 feet). A network extension to the remote location farther than 300 feet will need a point-to-point wireless bridge.

1. Near Site WiFi Extension to the Outdoor Wireless Security Cameras (up to 100 meters or 300 feet)

It’s hard for WiFi signals to penetrate wire-filled stucco walls or stone walls. To provide strong WiFi outside for the outdoor cameras, one WiFi extender installed outdoors would avoid the stifling impact of walls on WiFi signals. There are two kinds of products—Powerline WiFi extenders and outdoor WiFi access points—to provide WiFi outside the home.

1.1 Near Site Outdoor WiFi for Cameras: Powerline WiFi Extenders

If you install your outdoor wireless camera under your eaves or in the backyard, plugging in a powerline WiFi extender around is an excellent way to solve the outdoor WiFi issues. As the powerline adapters are rated as indoor devices, a covered patio or waterproof electric box is needed to stand the harsh outdoor environments.

If your patio is not enclosed or the outdoor wireless cameras are installed further from your home, you may need an outdoor access point. TP-Link offers Omada EAP series omnidirectional outdoor access points for outdoor WiFi. They come with IP67 or IP65 waterproof and dustproof housing and a -30–70°C (-22–158°F) operating temperature range. They are designed to protect the outdoor access points against harsh outdoor conditions.

One or two outdoor WiFi access points are deployed to connect the outdoor wireless cameras in relatively small areas. With the included passive PoE adapter, connect the Omada outdoor access points with your existing router to simultaneously provide data and power using a single Ethernet cable.

1.2.2 WiFi Outside for Relatively Large Areas

Several outdoor WiFi access points are deployed to connect outdoor wireless cameras across relatively large areas. The PoE switches or passive PoE adapters connect the Omada access points with a single Ethernet cable. Omada Mesh technology can wirelessly connect to the outdoor access points without additional cable if some access points cannot link to LAN ports. With Mesh technology, the maximum distance of extending outdoor WiFi can be multiple hundreds of meters.

2. Remote Site Network Expansion (More than 100 m and up to 30 km)

Add iCam365 camera

There are 3 ways to connect iCam365 camera, we recommend to use ‘Scan code to add a device’ to connect camera.

Click the + icon, then scan the QR code on the iCam365 camera, the QR code is usually on the bottom or back of the camera. iCam365 APP will show the recommended way to add.

Please let the camera close to the router, and then connect the camera.

Select Connection Mode

If the QR code on the iCam365 camera is missing or not recognized, you can manually select the add method to connect the camera.

1. Click Add by type in the top right corner, select Surveillance camera, select WiFi camera.

2. Then you can choose Quickly add, Scan code to add a device and Add a device by wired network.

Quickly add – Android

Add a camera via the AP hotspot connected to the iCam365 camera.

When the ‘Camera startup is complete, waiting for network to be added‘ voice, you can start to connect iCam365 camera, if there is no voice, please reset iCam365 camera.

1. Select Quickly add, click Next > I know

2. Click CHOOSE, click the icon to select your wifi and enter your wifi password, then click NEXT.

Can’t search iCam365 camera?

Please connect iCam365 hotspot wifi manually, wifi name: AICAM_xxxxxxxxxxx.

Can’t find iCam365 hotspot wifi?
Please reset iCam365 camera.

3. After you click JOIN, your phone will automatically connect to iCam365 camera’s hotspot wifi, then wait for iCam365 camera to connect to your wifi.

After successful connection, set the camera name and you can start using iCam365 camera.

Scan code to add

Scan QR code on your mobile phone to add a iCam365 camera to pair WiFi.

When the ‘Camera startup is complete, waiting for network to be added‘ voice, you can start to connect iCam365 camera, if there is no voice, please reset iCam365 camera.

1. Select Scan code to add a device, click Next, select your wifi and enter your wifi password and click Next.

2. Let iCam365 camera scan the QR code displayed by APP, Distance 10-30 cm (3 – 11in).

3. When the iCam365 camera emits the ‘Scan QR code successfully‘ voice, click NEXT and wait for the camera to connect to wifi.

After successful connection, set the camera name and you can start using iCam365 camera.

Share Camera

You can share iCam365 camera to your family or friends.

Share the account to enjoy the permission to watch the live broadcast, intercom permission, control the rotation of the PTZ. and view video replay privileges

1.Click Share > Add new sharing, then enter your family or friend’s email or cell phone number.

2.After sharing, a sharing message will be sent to the email or number you entered, register and login to iCam365 APP and you can start using the camera.

In the sharing screen, you can click the icon on the right to delete the shared users.

Setup Recording

Before setting up the recording, you need to insert the memory card to make the recording function available.

1. Insert the memory card into the iCam365 camera, then enter the Memory card interface to see if the camera reads the memory card.

Note: When replacing or removing the card, please cut off the power first to avoid card damage and data loss.

2. Click Video recording settinas, you can set the recording mode and definition here.

· All-day video recording : Uninterrupted continuous video recording

· Event video recording : Record a video when an event is detected

· Turn off : The device will stop recording a video after turn-off

Video Definition: The higher the storage resolution, the clearer the recorded video will be, while the more storage capacity taken up and the less the total recording time. Please choose the storage resolution according to your own situation.

iCam365 camera can not connect to wifi usually caused by the following problems, you can follow the guide below to fix the problem of not connecting to wifi.

1. Make sure the iCam365 camera is currently in waiting connection mode.

· After the camera is powered on, wait for the camera to start up (about 30 seconds), the camera will send out a voice prompt ‘Camera start up is complete, waiting for the network to be added’.

· No voice prompt, please reset the iCam365 camera

2. Make sure iCam365 camera supports your wifi.

iCam365 camera only supports 2.4Ghz wifi, wifi name and password support English, alphabet and numbers.

Voice: Router connection failed, please reconfigure the network

It means iCam365 camera can’t connect to wifi, please check your wifi information and reset the camera to reconnect.

Voice: Receiving wifi information, connecting to server

It means iCam365 camera can’t connect to the internet, maybe the camera is too far away from the router, please get closer to the router.

Voice: Please program the ID number.

This may be a Chinese voice, iCam365 camera does not program ID, can not use.
We suggest you to return the camera directly, or contact your seller for support, you need a computer to fix this prob.

If your CCTV DVR or NVR don’t have a built-in WiFi support, then you have to run internet cable (CAT 5 or CAT 6 Ethernet cable) to connect your DVR or NVR to the internet via the router.

• Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet input on the back of the DVR.
• Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable into a device providing an active internet connection, such as a router or modem.
• Test your internet connection to confirm that it is active by going to the Network > Network screen.

1) Right click mouse—go to Main Menu > Setup > Network.

2) On the Network tab, ensure the “Obtain an IP Address Automatically” option is enabled, and that there is no information in the PPPoE fields.

3) Once you’ve ensured there is no information in the PPPoE field and that the “Obtain and IP Address Automatically” option is selected, select the “Test” option.

If “OK” is displayed, the local area network is connected successfully.

If the DVR is not able to connect to the internet, you will get a message that states “Cannot Connect to Network”.

NOTE:

In order for other devices to connect to the DVR through the router, the DHCP setting must be enabled from the router’s settings page.

If you still cannot connect to the network, please ensure that you don’t have a firewall active on your network that may be limiting the connection.

You may need to open ports 80, 5000, and 5001 on your router, if they’re currently being blocked by te firewall. This typically only happens on commercial internet accounts, as they deal with sensitive transactions, but occasionally a firewall on a residential line will also block these ports.

If you’re unsure how to open ports on your router, you will need to speak with the router manufacturer.

1) What’s DHCP?

DHCP is a type of internet networking approach. It stands for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol. It means that a router assigns IP addresses to each of the devices on the network, allowing them to communicate with other devices in or outside the network.

In context of our systems, the setting related to DHCP is called DHCP server status. This setting enables your router to obtain the static IP address on the DVR and broadcast that IP to the app so it can locate your DVR. This setting needs to be enabled on a router for the apps to be able to connect to the DVR systems.

2) For example: How to set up a linksys E5350 Router?

Once you’ve logged into the router settings, you’ll want to select “configuration” at the top, and then “Connection > Local Network” in the menu on the left. You should see this page:

You’ll want to ensure the checkbox beside “DHCP server” is checked off, and set the start IP address to 100 as shown in the image. Leaving the other settings here as they default should be fine. Once this is done, select “save.” Before proceeding with the next steps, try using the app while not connected to local WiFi. If you can see the live feeds, you don’t need to complete the steps below.

Your system may not include an internal Hard Drive. (This depends on which model you bought, we sell systems with or without hard drive). If your system does not include a hard drive, please install one of your own, the system works with most 3.5 inch SATA Hard Drive.

⑴ Power off the NVR system and unplug all cables, NVR cover is secured with screws. Remove the screws and slide the cover off.

⑵ Find the two SATA Connections (power and data) on the NVR main board, plug the two cable connections into the hard drive (They only go one way), place the HDD over the screw slots of your NVR and slide the HDD into place, then install the hard drive with the screws.

Tips: Once the hard drive is installed go to the NVR setting and find HDD Setup: Right click the mouse > Go to System setup > General setup > HDD Setup > Format, then click on Format. The hard drive should format then after a restart be ready to use.

Right click the mouse > Go to System Setup > Record Setup > Choose the Channel > Click Time > Set up the time frame on the grid > Click Copy to > All > OK > OK.

Tips: When you are setting up the time frame for recording, you can left click and drag your mouse, or you can left click the little box on the grid, the color of the little box will change, which means it has been selected. Each day of the week is corresponding to 3 lines, the first line for Time (regular recording), the second line for Motion (motion recording), and the third line for Alarm (alarm recording). You should click Time, Motion, or Alarm above the grid first before you configure the timing below.

You may click Reset to erase all the selection on the grid, and configure again.  If you schedule the recording the way below (green line from Sun to Sat, 00:00-24:00), it means your NVR will only record when movement is detected within this time frame (Sunday-Saturday, 24/7).

Step2: Go to Channel Setup > Video detection > Choose the Channel, then from the drop-down menu of Detection, choose Motion > Set up the Sensitivity > Check the boxes below for Alarm, Buzzer, Email Notice or App Alarm per your needs > Click Copy to > Choose All > Click OK to save the setting.

Answer: Condensation occurs in a humid environment as a result of the difference of the temperatures of the air and the object on which it occurs. In most cases it will clear up itself. The mist is more or less a rapid drop in temperature – one solution might be the use of a see-through rain cover, or a large enough zip-lock bag with appropriate cuts, applied before taking the camera out of doors to minimize the humidity trapped in it.

Otherwise, the same humidity will still condense within the rain cover itself instead of in the camera just like when one uses a rain cover in cold weather with a warm camera. Another, not as practical, but effective solution might be to regulate the temperature around the camera, but isolating it from humidity is the more guaranteed solution, even if it is only applicable in very few situations. If your NVR comes with a hard drive but it is not recording, please verify the hard drive info, if it is not showing hard drive info, open the NVR case and verify the cable connection. If it shows up error under the hard drive info, Right click the mouse > Go to System setup > General setup > HDD Setup > Format, then click on Format.

Solar panel is a device that converts sunlight into electric energy. If the sunlight is not enough, the solar panel will not provide sufficient power for the camera. Add the IP camera to the NVR by matching code

1.  When you use Match Code
1.1 Add new add-on cameras to your system
1.2 Re-pair camera to NVR when they lose connection. You need to delete the
Network Unreachable channel at first, then re-pair the camera to an unoccupied
channel. (unoccupied channel always shows No Video Source under Status.)

Tips: The IP cameras in pre-packed kits have already been paired to the NVR. So the
cameras will automatically connect to the NVR once they are plugged in power.

2.  Add camera by matching code.
2.1  Power on the camera which has no video, and connect this camera to the NVR
via Network cable.

2.2  Right click mouse on the main interface, select “Video Manage“

2.3  Click “Refresh“, find the camera’s IP. Click “Match Code“, then click “Yes“, the
NVR will start to match code to the camera.

What is the WiFi distance of the wireless kits?

Between each camera to the NVR:

In open space we tested 350m (1150ft) working distance;

With normal obstacles like 1-2 walls, we tested 35m (115ft) working distance.

For distance we only have theoretical values.

No certain distance can be guaranteed due to different environments applied in.

It varies depending on obstacles and signal interference.

on the contrast, if there are many blocks and signal interference between, the distance could be closer.

What if your NVR system keeps beeping?

1. Please right click your NVR mouse, then click System Setup – General Setup – Error setup, make sure that “Enable” and “Buzzer” are unchecked.

2. Please right click your NVR mouse, then click System setup – Channel setup –  Video detection, make sure that “Buzzer” is unchecked for all channels.

3. If you have checked above 2, and none of the buzzer are checked.

    Follow below to stop the beeping:

    a. Right click your NVR mouse, then click System setup – System Admin –  Factory setting, uncheck WiFi Reset, then click Apply to reset NVR settings.

    b. If you cannot view the cameras on the NVR after resetting, please right click your NVR mouse, then click Exit system, choose shutdown. Follow on-screen message to unplug NVR from power and then re-plug it back to NVR. Wait for NVR to initialize.

Then the cameras shall come back.

How to connect and set up the Wireless Network Camera System?

1. Connect the DC 12V/2A power adapter to the Power port of the NVR.

When Power indicator light is on, NVR starts to work.

2. Use VGA / HDMI cable to connect your NVR and Monitor / TV, then preview interface can be seen.

3. Plug the network cable and mouse to the ports of NVR rear panel.

4. Connect the DC 12V/1A power adapter to the IP camera (IPC).

Each camera has one 6ft length power adapter.

5. After finish connecting, the NVR will search the IPC automatically and start to initialize the connection.

When completed connection, the images will display.

6. Login this system:

Username :  admin

Password:  (there is no password, please keep it blank)

(Note: if you want to change the password, you can go to NVR’s System Setup – System Admin -User management – Set password to change it.)

7. Then you can follow up the below steps to set up on your phone:

If you want to view the cameras remotely, the NVR should be connected WAN network, Please ensure DHCP in your Router is open.

If you don’t know how to enable the Router’s DHCP, please input the IP Address of your  

Router to IE browser, then you will find the network information, you can enable the “DHCP”.

After that, please go to NVR’s System Setup – Network Setup to enable “DHCP”

Then the system will obtain the IP Address, DNS from your Router automatically.

Or you can go back main menu to select “Fast Network”, Then the system will connect the WAN network automatically.

4. Next, there will pop up a dialog box asking are you sure to backup this record.

   Click “Yes” if you are sure.

   Before start to backup, system will inform you to insert U disk within one minute. 

   If you want to cancel the operation of backup, you can click “Cancel” to withdraw.

   NOTE: The NVR only one USB port, so you have to unplug the mouse

and plug the U disk within one minute.

5. After you insert U disk, what you should do is just wait a moment.

6. Backup is completed when system inform you “Backup record succeed“.

   And you can unplug your USB disk at that time.

1. System connection

(1) The monitor must have HDMI input port.

  (2) Connect the HDMI port on both sides with the included HDMI cable.

2. NVR setup

  (1) Choose the option “Private” on this interface during NVR’s restarting. It allows you select audio or not.

(2) Check whether the encode mode is “AV stream” or not.

(3) On the live window, click mouse to select any channel to pop-up the hidden volume icon like a speaker, click it repeatedly to hear or mute the sound from camera.

1.Register a new Gmail mail account, and log in.

2.Get into your mailbox>click the “” in top right of page>get into “My Account“.

3.     Click “Sign-in&security” and enter the interface,Turn on “Allow less secure APP on“.

4.  After that, you will receive an email from Google, which means “less secure sign in” has been turned on.

5. Get into NVR system. Right click mouse>select System setup>Network setup>Network Status.

   Check if your NVR’s network connected successfully.

   Before operate what mentioned above:

    Make sure Cloud(P2P) display “ONLINE“.

   Make sure the Network Status display “Healthy Network“.

6.Then, click the “E-Mail”. 

Input your Gmail SMTP Server (smtp.gmail.com) in ” SMTP Server” Input your Gmail account in “Username” and “Sender”.

Change the “Encryption Type” to “TLS”.

After that, click “Apply”>click “Test”.

7.        When the system remind you “Test successful”, which means NVR’s mail alarm is set successfully.

8. PIR video detection setting as below picture:

    (1). Click “Channel setup” and “Video detection”

    (2). Choose Motion Detection, disable it

(3). Choose PIR Input Armed Detection, Enable E-mail Notice

9. After finished setting, When alarm is triggered, you will receive email from NVR.

 3. Continuously and successively click left button and right button in blank space of prompt box for six times.After that, monitor will display “Restore default user”.

4. Click “Yes”, and you will access to the interface where you can reset NVR’s password.

Tips:   1. The username must be “admin”, or else the password won’t be retrieved.

           2. If you want to make new password, please leave it blank in column of “Old password”.

           3. Delete the old password after reset the new one.

           4. If you have set a new password for NVR, remember that NVR password cannot exceed 10 characters, or the NVR will not save it correctly.

Precautions:

1. Please check your IPC version first, only 3.6.60 and above version can be solved the problem through upgrade.

2. The camera must be able to produce the image, if the camera can’t be viewed or resetted, it can’t be upgraded.

Go to “System Admin” – “IPC Maintenance” to check the version of the problem camera. Please note: Don’t upggrade the version 3.6.16 and below version with these upgard file.

Upgrade Method

1. Upgrade the IPC via NVR system

（1）Please download the update file to your computer and unzip it, then copy the update file(IPCAKV3C_xxxxx.rom) to a USB flash drive. Please note: Don’t change the file name

（2）Plug the USB flash drive to the NVR’s USB interface

Enter the NVR’s menu (System Setup-> Channel Setup-> IPC Upgrade)

（4）Click the “Channel” and select the upgarde channel of the IPC.

（5）Click “Start” and “Yes”, the IPC will be upgrading. Please note: During the upgrade, please don’t power off the NVR and the camera.

2. Upgrade the IPC via TF card.

（1）Unzip the upgrade file, then copy the “help.rom” file to the TF card. Please don’t change the file name and move it to the root directory, do not move the subdirectory.

（2）Power off the camera, then insert the TF card to the TF card slot. Then power on the camera.

（3）Waiting for about 1 minutes, the camera will start up. Then press 3 times continuously of the reset button for the camera(In order to prevent operation errors, you can press several times, which will not affect the upgrade).

（4）About 2 seconds later, the camera will makes a sound for an upgrade. Then waiting for about 2-3 minutes, if the camera restart and works normally, it means that the upgrade is successful.

How to get the NVR system ONLINE?

.

1. Please make sure you enabled DHCP of your Router.

2. If you don’t know how to enable the Router’s DHCP,

    please input the IP Address of your Router to your computer browser,

    then you will find the network information, you can enable the “DHCP”.

3. After that, please plug a network cable to the WAN port on back of NVR.

4. If the system refuses to go ONLINE?

Basic troubleshooting:

  (1).  Check if your network cable can work well.

         If NVR is getting signal, there should be flash light. If not, please check the connection and cable.

  (2).  If the port is right and NVR is still OFFLINE, then it should be DHCP issue.

         Enable DHCP on your NVR.

        Click right button of mouse, go to NVR’s System Setup – Network Setup – check the DHCP and enable it,

        apply and save it. Wait for 1 minute to see if the status on bottom right corner changes to ONLINE.

5. Or you can go back main menu to select “Fast Network“, 

        Then the system will connect the WAN network automatically.

        Within 1 minute, you shall see NVR status changes to ONLINE and the NVR is ready to be viewed

        from anywhere anytime.

6. If this can’t help you, probably your Router disabled DHCP or block new devices from connecting.

    What DHCP does is: when Router find new device connected, DHCP allocate new IP to the device

                              and connect it to the Internet.

   An easiest way to know if your router enables DHCP:

   When you connect a new device to your WiFi for Internet service (or a visitor/ friend wanted WiFi

   connection), does it require WiFi password only? If only password required, then your router has

   DHCP enabled; if that requires not only password but also some settings, then your Router is secured

   from connecting new devices. Please ask people who secured the WiFi (who set password) to enable

   the NVR to connect.

The Step 4 and Step 5 should enable 95% users to get NVR ONLINE.

Even if the status shows OFFLINE after all this, we suggest you to use APP and access the Cloud ID

to see if it works.

Note:   Always wait for 1 minute after any change.

Advanced troubleshooting

If the basic steps above does not solve the issue. Follow below steps to do further troubleshooting.

1. Make sure the cable you connect to NVR has Internet access. 

Please use a laptop or any PC has RJ45 port

· Disable the wireless connection of laptop.

· Unplug the network cable from NVR and plug it into the PC, see if the PC can access the Internet via the cable.

· If it does, then the cable is good; if it does not, change a cable.

· If cable is good yet no Internet connection, please ask help from your network administrator

· to give the cable Internet access.

2. Enable DHCP of your router, please refer to Step 2.

.

If you don’t want to use DHCP, or you want to set up a static IP Address for your NVR system,

you can follow the below steps to set up:

   Well, we can allocate IP manually for the NVR and connect it to Internet. 

  1. Know your router gateway. 

  This is the IP that goes to the menu of your router. 

  This will vary slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer, and will be listed in the documentation.

  Here are some common IP addresses for various routers:

   Linksys, 3Com, Asus, Dell, US Robotics: 192.168.1.1

   Qwest (AKA CenturyLink), DLink, Netgear, Trendnet, Senao: 192.168.0.1

   Belkin, Microsoft, and SMC: 192.168.2.1

   Apple: 10.0.1.1

If you have misplaced your documentation, and you do not see your router listed here,

search on Google for your router name and “default IP address” to find the correct information.

Another way to locate your router’s IP address: on a PC, open the command prompt (click on Start >

Run/Search for cmd) and enter ipconfig. Look for the Default Gateway line, and try that number.

On a Macintosh, open the Network control panel (System Preferences…, Network) and look for Router: 

This is your router’s IP address.

How to upgrade the 8CH NVR to 10 Channel(Only for Version 3.1.8.0M)

1. Comfirm your system version if is the version 3.1.8.0M first. 

Note: This update file only supports NVR version(3.1.8.0M) to update to 10 channel, if your system version is not 3.1.8.0M, please don’t use this update file to upgrade your system, otherwise it will cause the system not work.

Setup The System

This system is standalone with embedded Linux Operating System in the NVR. Just like a desktop PC, need to hook a screen to the NVR to enter the OS .Any TV,monitor with VGA or HDMI input should work for it.

If you connect the NVR with monitor shows Hiseeu logo or shows black,normally it is your monitor resolution is lower then the NVR.You can press the left side of the mouse for 30s,then it will reboot.

If still can’t work,pls change a monitor,thanks.

When you turn on the NVR box, the monitor will get below interface: Setup Wizard- -Down- -General setup- -Next -wireless setup- -Next- -Fast network- -Next -Format the hard drive- -Next

CHECK NVR NETWORK , CHANGE NVR SYSTEM LOGIN PASSWORD

Once you have completed connecting the NVR,wait approximately 2-3 minutes.Next you will see the window below on your monitor screen.For your first time to login in,User name is admin,there is no password,just choose ok to get into the menu.

Tips: To protect your privacy,please set your password at earliest convenience(don’t set the password over 8 characters).Right click the mouse→System Setup→System Admin→User to set password.

How to check if your Cloud is online and Network status is healthy ?

Right click the mouse of the register,choose Fast Network.In the middle of the window you should see Cloud status as ONLINE and Network Status as Healthy Network.

If this does not appear, select Manual Config then enable DHCP,Click Apply,then power off the NVR box,wait a few seconds and power up.

Once you power up, repeat the steps outlined as above.Cloud status must be ONLINE and Network Status must be Healthy Network.If this does not happen,you will not be able to view remotely

There are 3 modes for reocrd.

Note: Users can setup any period of time they want,for example 0:00:00-23:59:59,That’s 24 hours×7days recording.When NVR detects hard disk,the default setting will be 24 hours×7 days recording.

The priority of Alarm is higher than that of Motion,and the priority of Motion is higher than that of Time.

Video Playback

Steps: right clik mouse in main menu→Video playback→choose date,channel,record mode→click search→then can view playback file.(IE browser can’t check the playback directly,so you can use the Eseecloud software on computer or check on your phone app Eseecloud and IP RPO)

Warm prompt:

1.IIIustration for playback button: play, pause, fast forward×2,×4,×8

2.Play file:Choose the recording file in file list,as number “1” shown in picture.Choose one of the recording,click “play” to play to recording file;

3.Video backup:Choose the recording file in file list,as number “1” shown in picture.Insert the U flash disk,click “video backup” to backup the file;

4.Timeline: Click “date”and “time”at left bottom to check the timeline of recording,as number “2″ shown in picture;

5.On the timeline with recording file,left click the mouse,the can playback the file.

Notes: you can see four channel cameras playback at the same time,if you want to check other channels you need select the correct channel at first,then choose search to find it playback.

Find the IP address: right click your mouse and choose Fast network, you will see the IP address here.
Enter the NVR’s IP address in your IE browser for example: http://192.168.1.105(If the default WEB port 80 has been changed e.g. to 100,you need to add new port number when input IP address in the browser,for example: http://192.168.1.105:100).

To view on the Phone

Users can use cellphone to scan the QR code below to install the APP free of charge,or users can search “Eseecloud”or ’IP PRO‘ on APP store or Google Play then install the APP.

Click “+”→other ways to add/ scan the QR code on your fast network page→Network connected device→input Cloud ID and User name and password (user name and password is the same one you login in NVR)

Tips: if you’ve set a password on your NVR system,please update your password on APP to view.
And if your camera loading for a long time and don’t show image,you can right click your NVR mouse and choose System Setup→Network setup,change the MTU to 1000.

Playback On Mobiles

In the Eseecloud APP,while viewing live video of the system,click Playback,you will enter the remote playback menu.The APP Playback only check one channel at one time

Tips: Videos in playback are HD mode for real time which requires very good transmission condition.
We suggest to playback in LAN.Remote playback out of LAN may not 100% work due to connection & network condition.

Extend WIFI Range

Wireless connection is easy and convenient, but it’s not universal application. Because of the character of WIFI, the WIFI signal will decrease when going through some obstacles Some methods can be applied to bypass obstacles and extend WiFi range.

Position The Antenna Correctly

WIFI range is like an apple and the antenna of NVR is in the center of it.WIFI signal is strong all around the WIFI range.Antenna of NVR should be put straight up,if not,WIFI signal will be weak.
According to the signal transmission character of antenna, the antenna of cameras should overlap or parallel to NVR WIFI range,as pictures showed below:

Use Antenna Extension Cord to prolong WIFI distance

Note:When WIFI signal is not strong enough against walls,users can take off the original antenna and subtitute antenna extension cord.Drill a hole on the wall to let the extension cord go through and simply it where WIFI signal is strong.

Set up cascading connection in a reasonable solution,extend wifi signal transfer distance

Note:
Repeater function can’t strengthen WIFI signal for wireless NVR kit, but can extend the distance by repeaters→WIFI cameras.

Only when the repeater cameras and repeated cameras are positioned correctly,WIFI distance will be extended.

Repeater function and 3 meters antenna extension cord are two methods to extend WIFI range.
Users can choose one according to real situation.

Repeater Setup

Step 1. Right click the NVR mouse,and choose “Video Manage”- -then left click Repeater”

Step 2. Add repeater
As picture shown below,click icon + besides channel 3,choose other channel.

Step 3. As picture shown below, it means IPC1 is connected to NVR through IPC2 and IPC3.
IPC2 is connected to NVR through IPC3.IPC3 is connected to NVR directly.

Step 4. Click “Apply” and then click “refresh” to check if the setting is successful.

Delete Repeater

Move the mouse to targeted channels,left click to delete,and then click “Apply” and “OK”.

Application Example

As picture shown above, when IPCAM1 is put somewhere is out of NVR WIFI range,and there is IPCAM2 between them with strong WIFI signal,users can put IPCAM1 close to NVR and power it, setup IPCAM1 repeated by IPCAM2, and then install IPCAM1 to the presupposed place.

Camera add failure reasons and solutions

Q1: Failed to add the camera for the first time

Check whether the green light of the camera flashes normally. If the camera status light is not flashing green, use a thimble to lightly insert the configuration hole or long press the reset button until the camera indicator flashes.

Q2: Determine whether the binding failure caused by the router settings

1. The router has been set up to prevent Wi-fi squatter If the Wi-Fi connected to the camera is set to prevent Wi-fi squatter(black and white lists, MAC address filtering, etc.), the camera will not be able to connect to the Internet. The router’s prevent Wi-fi squatter settings need to be canceled.

2. The router is set up with 5GHz band wireless WiFi The camera does not currently support the connection of 5G band WiFi. Please open the router management page (generally marked with the address of the management page on the bottom label of the router), select the wireless setting 2.4GHz, and set it to on.

Q3: Check whether the mobile phone prohibit the permission of  EseeCloud to use data, WLAN, GPS

Domestic Android phones may prohibit the use of data, WLAN, GPS permissions for this application, resulting in the camera being unable to connect to WiFi. Solution (Android phone): Open the phone settings center-click “application management”-open the above permissions

Q4: Make sure that the WilFi account and password are filled in correctly

It is likely that the Wi-Fi account and password you connected to the camera are incorrect, resulting in the camera not being able to connect to the network. In particular, pay attention to whether there is a space input, and try to avoid complex and uncommon symbols.

Q5: Other questions

1. If the router is set to bridge mode, the WiFi signal will be unstable, causing the connection to fail. It is not recommended to use WiFi in bridge mode when the camera is networked.

2. If you are a campus / enterprise user and the school 1 company assigns each student / employee a static IP to access the Internet, you can manually enter the static IP information to access the Internet.At present, this situation is not supported by camera networking, need to select other available WiFi connections.

3. The camera does not support WPA / WPA2’s “enterprise” encryption method to connect the camera to the network. Support WEP, WPA–PSK 1 WPA2–PSK, or corporate WiFi without password. If the camera is networked in the corporate network environment, please confirm in advance whether the WiFi encryption method meets the camera networking requirements.

What should do if the camera is offline?

Q1: Camera offline processing method

1. Check whether your device is power-on and the status light is on;
2. If you are using WIFI connection, please confirm whether you have modified the WIFI in the environment where the device is located-including the WIFI password and name, if modified, please reconfigure WIFl;
3. If the reason cannot be resolved, please restore the factory settings and add the network again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question one：After installation, open the CMS and display “Cannot load plugin”?

Answer one：

1.Please confirm whether the installation path uses Chinese when installing, and the plugin is temporarily not compatible with Chinese path.

2.After confirming the non-Chinese path, if the problem persists, you can contact technical support for assistance.

Question two：After connecting multiple channels of video (more than 30 channels), videos stop for a few seconds , all channels are automatically disconnected into the black screen. The device connected again has no response. Do we need to restart the CMS?

Answer two：The new version of CMS3.0.1 runs with higher memory. If you connect many channels by the lower configuration computer, the computer system will run out of memory, causing the CMS to run abnormally. If the computer configuration is slightly lower, it is recommended not to connect too many channels. The optimization work has been planned for this situation.

Question three：When CMS is installed on the OSX system, it displays “File is corrupted” or “Unable to open” when it is opened?

Answer three：

1.Open “System Settings” → “Security and Privacy” → “Allow applications to be downloaded in the following location”, check “any source” (applies to versions prior to OSX10.12.X);

2.Open “Terminal”, enter the string “sudo spctl –master-disable”, press the “Enter” key, enter the sudo password (applicable to versions after OSX10.12.X). If the above method still does not work, please contact us to help you solve it.

Question four：After starting a window and flashing, it will not start or XP will appear. Open the software to indicate 0a00000000 memory referenced by 0x00000000 instruction. The memory cannot be ‘written’.
