Make sure your audio on the computer or television is enabled and working by playing music or watching a video with audio </span><span style="color: #001133; font-size: 11.5pt;">online</span><span style="color: #001133; font-size: 11.5pt;">. You should see this audio meter change when playing music or video on the computer/television.</span></p>

<h2>Presets</h2>
<p>Presets will save a camera position for quick retrieval.</p>
<p><strong>To add preset locations:</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>From the Live View display of your PTZ camera, right-click to open the Quick Menu, then click <strong>Pan/Tilt/Zoom</strong>.</li>
<li>The PTZ controls open. Click <img decoding="async" src="http://www.lorextechnology.com/images/supportimages/SHEILASPAGE/LNZ81P25/IMG25.jpg" alt="(IMG 25)" /> to open advanced PTZ controls, then click <img decoding="async" src="http://www.lorextechnology.com/images/supportimages/SHEILASPAGE/LNZ81P25/IMG24.jpg" alt="(IMG 24)" />.</li>
<li>Click the <strong>Preset</strong> tab.</li>
<li>Enter the number of the preset you want to create under <strong>Preset</strong>.</li>

<h2>Controlling Your PTZ Camera</h2>
<ol>
<li>In Live View, double-click the channel that has the PTZ camera connected to open in fullscreen.</li>
<li>Right-click and click <strong>Pan/Tilt/Zoom</strong>. Enter the system user name and password if prompted. The PTZ menu opens.</li>
<li>Use the on-screen controls to control the camera.</li>
</ol>
<h3>PTZ Controls</h3>

<ol>
<li><strong>Zoom-to-Area:</strong> Click, then click-and-drag to draw a box on the camera image. The PTZ camera will zoom in to the selected area.</li>
<li><strong>Navigation Controls:</strong> Click the directional arrows to move the PTZ camera manually.</li>
<li><strong>Mouse Tracking:</strong> Click to enable/disable mouse tracking. When enabled, click-and-drag in the direction you would like the PTZ camera to move. The camera will follow the path of the mouse cursor.</li>
<li><strong>PTZ Settings:</strong>
<ul>
<li><strong>Speed:</strong> Enter a PTZ speed between 1 (slowest) and 8 (fastest).</li>
<li><strong>Zoom:</strong> Optical zoom level. Click <strong>+</strong> to zoom in, and <strong>–</strong> to zoom out.</li>
<li><strong>Focus:</strong> Manually control focus level. Click <strong>+</strong> to focus on objects further from the camera, or <strong>–</strong> to focus on objects closer to the camera.</li>
<li><strong>Iris:</strong> Controls the amount of light coming through the lens. Click <strong>+</strong> to allow more light, or <strong>–</strong> for less.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><strong>Advanced:</strong> Expand to show advanced options.</li>
</ol>
<h3>Advanced PTZ Controls</h3>
<p>Advanced PTZ controls can be used to save camera positions and cycle through various positions, and automate camera actions.</p>

<li>Click the arrow in the PTZ control window to open advanced controls.</li>
</ul>

<li><strong>AutoPan:</strong> Set the camera to rotate 180° back and forth.</li>

<li><strong>Flip:</strong> Rotate the camera 180° from its current position.</li>

<p><strong>Purpose:</strong> For some newly released analog cameras, they have their own OSD menu. In this menu, the users could change the working mode, adjust the image parameters, and reset the camera, and so on.</p>
<p><strong>NOTE:</strong> If you want to reset the camera to the factory default, please connect the camera with the DVR via the BNC cable.</p>
<p><strong><span class="wysiwyg-color-black">Here are the steps for you:<br />
</span></strong>Below are the steps to reset the camera to the factory default.</p>
<ol>
<li>Please access the system and go to the Menu&#8211;&gt;Camera&#8211;&gt;PTZ, and select the camera and click the PTZ button.<br />

<li>On the PTZ Menu, please click the &#8216;+&#8217; icon to enter the main menu:<br />

The soft address is valid address for connecting the speed dome when SOFT ADDR ACT is ON, the selectable soft address rage is from 0/1(Pelco-D/P) to 255. The soft baud rate is the valid baud rate for the speed dome when SOFT BAUD ACT. Is enabled, with 2400, 4800, 9600 and 19200 selectable.</span></p>
