Note:  Each camera needs an individual audio-in port. (If the DVR has only one audio-in port, then only the camera on channel #1 can record with sound)

Here are the steps for you:

1. Make sure your DVR has RCA red audio cord at the back of the DVR.
2. Hook up an external microphone to DVR by audio cable.
3. The microphone should be put next to one camera so that that camera‘s image and sound are synchronized.
4. Connect a long audio cable to the microphone and DVR‘s audio-in port. Also, you can also connect a speaker to the audio-out port of the DVR.
5. Finally, you could go to the DVR Settings–Schedule–Camera No.–Advance–Record Audio to enable the Record Audio.

Note:

If the camera comes with a built-in microphone, the ‘Audio‘ configuration should be ‘Camera‘.

If you install an external microphone for the camera, the ‘Audio‘ configuration should be ‘Local‘.

To get sound on the TV, computer, and the APP, you need to enable the speaker and microphone.

a). On the DVR from TV/monitor access

b). On the Annke Vision APP

c).  On the IE browser

d). On the computer software Guarding vision

Below are the steps to reset the cameras’ password.

1. Download and install a software SADPTool on your Windows computer. Here is the download link: For

2. Connect your computer to one of the POE ports (i.e. the camera port) on your NVR.

3. Run the software SADPTool and it will detect the camera‘s IP.

4. Select the camera‘s IP and click forget password at the right bottom of the software.

5. Click “Export” and select the path to export an XML file. Please export the file of each of your nonworking cameras.

7. Send us the XML file and we will give you another key file to continue the password reset.

NOTICE:
1. Please do NOT turn off your NVR and the SADP software after you exported the files. Otherwise, the exported file will be invalid immediately.
2. Please use the key file from us as soon as possible because it’s only valid for 24 hours.

8. Select “Import” and choose the file we sent to you.
Input your NVR’s password as the new password and confirm the password of the camera. Click “Confirm” to finish reset.

NOTICE:
Please follow the matching guide in our email to import the XML file to the cameras accordingly.
(For example, we will say “xxxxxx.xml” for “xxxxxx.xml”)

After resetting the cameras successfully, please turn off your NVR, wait for about 10 seconds, then turn on the NVR again.

• 2 Set WLAN IP

Input the IP address (192.168.1.10) in IE browser to login it.

• Go to Configuration> Network> TCP/IP. And then we can check the IP of LAN. It is 192.168.1.10

• Go to Configuration> Network> Advanced Settings> Wi-Fi, and then click Search. We can search all Wi-Fi router nearby. Please select the Wi-Fi router and then type in the right parameters of Wi-Fi router. And then click Save.

Go to Configuration> Network> Basic Settings> TCP/IP> Wlan. And then we can set IP of WLAN to be 192.168.1.155.

Login camera via WLAN

• Unplug the cable between camera and router. When we run the SADP, the WLAN IP will be shown in software

• Type in the WLAN IP (192.168.1.155) to IE browser, we can login the IP camera by Wi-Fi.

• We can have a live view of camera

If you’re not sure about the firmware, then contact your seller to get the right one. There are many versions of Hikvision cameras on the market (read more here), the firmware listed here work for Hikvision USA and Hikvision OEM cameras. It won’t work if your camera is the Chinese version. You can use the firmware below to reformat/reflash the camera through the TFTP method (read more here).

After downloading the firmware, you need to extract (unzip) the file. The firmware is named “digicap.dav”. Update sequently. If your firmware is too old, you can’t update directly to the latest one, you need to update in sequence. The firmware are hosted on Google drive.
