Insert the battery into the camera and tap Continue.

Arlo Go 2 gives you the flexibility of using 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or LTE for connectivity. You can also use LTE as a backup in case your Wi-Fi internet connection is interrupted.

Note: When using both 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and LTE mode, Wi-Fi will always be the primary mode of connection.

Arlo Go 2 works with the same Arlo Secure App as all other Arlo cameras and devices. However, to connect your Go 2 camera to the mobile network, an activated SIM card with a mobile data plan must be inserted into the camera.

Note: We recommend that you charge the battery before mounting your camera. Your camera LED indicator light will blink amber if your battery needs charging. The indoor charging cable that came with your camera works with most power adapters.

Enable IMAP access of your e-mail.

Log into your Google account. In “Security” section, find “Signing in to Google”.

Enter ”App passwords”. Select the app and device for which you want to generate the app password, or you can name your own app and device, then click “GENERATE”.

How to connect a LaView Saturn Series IP Camera to a Non-Saturn Series NVR

5a. If you are connecting the camera to the NVR PoE port, set up the Target IP to 192.168.254.xxx (xxx being a random number from 2-254), and Gateway to  192.168.254.1, Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0. Then unplug the camera from the PoE switch or Router and connect it to the NVR using Cat5e cable.

5b. If you are connecting the camera via LAN, use DHCP or set up the IP address to your network range. For example: Target IP 192.168.0.217, Subnet 255.255.255.0, Gateway 192.168.0.1

6. Go the NVR Menu => Camera => Camera.

7. Click on the channel which the camera is connected to (ie if the camera is connected to port 3 on the back of the NVR, click on channel 3). If you are connecting the camera via LAN, Click on any unused channel.

8. Change ‘Plug and Play’ to ‘Manual’ and enter the camera IP address (192.168.254.xxx or 192.168.0.217 as in previous example)

9. Change protocol to ONVIF and Management port is 80

10. Enter user name and password you set up when you activated the camera in step 3.

How to reset LaView Saturn IP Camera

What should I do if I connect a LaView Saturn Camera to LV-N96, LV-N95, LV-N98 series NVR but only get 720P maximum resolution in main stream?

If you only get 720p in mainstream, it means the IP camera is set to H.265. Please use the following instruction to switch the camera to H.264 compression.

The system worked seamlessly until last week when it suddenly shut off and now won’t come back on

Would suggestion you follow the instruction below for troubleshooting,

1.Please ensure the cameras are connected, would suggest you to connect them directly to the PoE ports at the back of the system.

2.At the day time, try to cover the camera lens with your hands to see if there is a IR red light on the problematic cameras. And please also check if the camera goes hot when it is connected.

3.The camera appears not to get powe if there is no light and heat. We will need to check if it is the camera/port/cable issue.

1.At first, please switch the problematic camera to the workable PoE ports to test. You can also go to your PoE Configuration setting to check the power.

2.If it still doesn’t work with another port, please exchange the cable to check again. If possible, you can also add the camera to another system to confirm the problem.

NVR is showing offline on Platform Access menu

In this case, please check the connection between the router and the NVR. Unplug and plug the ethernet cable to make sure the connection is solid. 

Then go to the NVR system, enable ‘DHCP’, “Obtain DNS Server Address” and ‘Platform Access’, disable  ‘DDNS’ and check if the status of the NVR changes from “Offline” to “Online”. Please see the pictures attached as a reference.

If it doesn’t work, please try to reboot the system to see if the issue can be resolved.

How to add Wi-Fi Cam (One PT ) to your NVR

1. Make sure One PT camera and the NVR are well connected to the same LAN. 

2. Enter the camera management menu of NVR, select an unoccupied channel, and click the “Edit” icon to add the camera manually.

3. Make sure the adding method is manual, select the ONVIF protocol, enter the correct IPv4 Address and password of the camera.

Please find a 12V power adapter to power up your camera. And directly connect this camera to the router with an Ethernet cable if you need to reset the password via XML files.

Please power on the device (NVR/DVR/cameras) and connect it to the router via an ethernet cable first.

Then find the attachment and follow the instructions to export the XML file and send it to us. We will help to generate a key file and send it back to you to reset the password.

Kindly pay attention to the following when you export the file.

1. BOTH THE EXPORTED AND IMPORTED XML FILE IS VALID FOR ONLY 24 HOURS.

Set up DDNS

You may follow the steps below to enable the DDNS feature,

1.Log in to http://laviewddns.com/ and set up an account

2.In the NVR interface, enter the correct account and setting in DDNS menu

3.In the router menu, assign Port 80, Port 8000 and Port 8554 to the IP address of the system

4.Go to www.canyouseeme.org to ensure the ports are opened

Set up PC viewing by PT Cloud

If you need to remotely view your system when you are not under the same Wi-Fi, please try to follow the steps below to set up the P2P connection.

Before adding your system to the PC software, please make sure your system is connected to the router(network) and is showing ‘Online’ status. Please go to your system menu -> Configuration -> Network -> PT Cloud/Platform Access to double-check your system’s online status.

Here I will take my NVMS V3 as an example.

1. Go to NVMS V3, go to ‘Maintenance and Management.

2. Click ‘Add’ here.

3. Choose ‘PT COULD’ here.

4. Log in to the LaView Connect app. Go to the ‘More’-> ‘Account Management’. Note down the ‘Username'(which belongs to your LaView P2P account) and ‘Country/Region’ information.

5. Get back the Client Software.

6. After logging in to the PT cloud account, please tap ‘Online’ and search for and choose the online device you would like to add.

7. Input the verification code set in ‘Platform Access’ in NVR and tap the “Add” icon.

8. Then you are good to go now.

9. Go to ‘Main View’ on the Client Software, you are also required to input the same verification code to watch the cameras. Please input the one as #7.

Here are more instructions about the NVMS V3.

In the example, NVMS V3 will automatically detect the online device so we are adding the device with its IP address. In this way, the system and the computer will be requested to connect to the same local network so that the software can auto-detect the online system.

1. Please go to ‘Device Management.

2. Please go to ‘Online device’ and your system will be found automatically.

3. Please choose your system from the online device and click on ‘Add’.

​4. Please enter the admin name and the admin password of your system in the box popping out.

5. Your system should be added and please go to ‘Main View’ on the home page.

No video on monitor

Will need to confirm the resolution of the camera first. Kindly note that the resolution of the monitor should be higher than the camera’s. Otherwise, the monitor will go black. Please get in touch with our LaView Support Team and provide the model number of your camera as well as your system if you do not know the system resolution.

If the monitor and system work fine before but quit working suddenly, please change the HDMI/VGA cable to check this issue.

If you have another monitor, please also exchange it to see if it can work. If necessary, you can also try to access your system on your computer to double-check.

Yes, if the third-party devices support the ONVIF protocol and you are using the correct setup for the specific camera.

I’m having issues connecting my NVR to my phone

Possible Fixes:

1.Please go to Menu-Configuration-Network and under the General tab make sure enable DHCP is selected, if it is not enabled then select enable and apply. If you had to enable it, restart the NVR and try the P2P setup again.

2.If you are still having issues, make sure DDNS is NOT enabled(unchecked). If DDNS is checked, uncheck it and apply then go back to Platform Access and disable P2P and apply. Once both are disabled, do a power cycle and reboot the unit. After the unit restarts enable P2P again, and do another power cycle.

3.Go to Extranet Access, Platform Access or DDNS and make sure LaView P2P is selected then apply, also make sure “Enable Stream Encryption” is disabled.

4. If none of these work, then it could be a network issue. Try to restart your modem/router by unplugging it for about 45 seconds. Plug it back in and restart the NVR, then try to reconnect your system to the P2P account.

How Do I find my system’s IP address?

To find your system’s IP address go to Main Menu>Maintenance>System Info>Network. The IPv4 Address at the top is your local IP. If your IP address is 0.0.0.0 or 192.0.0.64, this means your system is offline. There are a few causes from this, but usually, it’s a bad ethernet cable or the cable is not plugged in properly to either the DVR or Router. If those are checked to be correct, try restarting your router by unplugging it for a minute and restarting the DVR.

Connect Your System

Step 1. [Important] Properly install the Antennas for the cameras Step 2. Power up the cameras using the power supplies (12V 1A)

Step 3. Connect the NVR to your wall socket with its power supply (12V 2A) Step 4. Connect the NVR to your router with an Ethernet cable

Step 5. Connect the NVR to a HD monitor (at least 1920x1080p) with either a HDMI or VGA Step 6. Plug the mouse (included) into the USB port at the rear panel of the NVR.

Once you complete the steps above, it should be pretty much ready to go. Within seconds, there will be a live video showing up on the screen.

If your PC is NOT within the same LAN as the NVR (For example, you want to remotely access your home cameras while you are in your office):

⑴ Open your Internet Explorer (IE) and go to www.e-seenet.com

⑵ Enter Cloud ID, Username and Password to login.

Step 3: If this is the first time that you use IE to view your cameras, you may be asked to download and install some add-ons (i.e. WebClient.exe) in order to gain full access, please go on and follow the on-screen instruction to install the add-on. Once it is installed, close your IE and re-open it to enter the NVR’s IP address. Meanwhile, on your IE, please go to:

⑴ Tools > Internet Options > Security > Internet > Custom Level.

⑵ Scroll down the mouse until you see ActiveX controls and plug-ins. If you have Internet Explorer 9 or 11, disable

Allow ActiveX Filtering.

⑶ Choose Prompt for the following: Download signed ActiveX controls

Download unsigned ActiveX controls

Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting

Add Cameras by Matching Code

2.Add extra camera by Matching Code

2.1Power on the new camera connect it to the NVR through Network cable.

2.2Right-click your mouse on the NVR menu, go to Video Manage. (See the screenshot to the right)

2.3Click Refresh > Find the camera’s IP > Click Match Code. The NVR will start to match code with the camera. After it matches code successfully, the “status” will show as “Connect success”, which means the camera has been added to the NVR successfully. See below:

To do Match Code, you will need to delete the failed channel first, Right click > Video Manage > Added device, choose the failed channel, then click Delete to the right hand side. Then follow step 2.3 as stated above.

Tips: All cameras provided in the box are already pre-paired with the NVR, so normally you don’t need to do Match Code for the cameras supplied.

Video Recording

Your system may not include an internal Hard Drive. (This depends on which model you bought, we sell systems with or without hard drive). If your system does not include a hard drive, please install one of your own, the system works with most 3.5 inch SATA Hard Drive.

⑴ Power off the NVR system and unplug all cables, NVR cover is secured with screws. Remove the screws and slide the cover off.

.

⑵ Find the two SATA Connections (power and data) on the NVR main board, plug the two cable connections into the hard drive (They only go one way), place the HDD over the screw slots of your NVR and slide the HDD into place, then install the hard drive with the screws.

Tips: Once the hard drive is installed go to the NVR setting and find HDD Setup: Right click the mouse > Go to System setup > General setup > HDD Setup > Format, then click on Format. The hard drive should format then after a restart be ready to use.

Right click the mouse > Go to System Setup > Record Setup > Choose the Channel > Click Time > Set up the time frame on the grid > Click Copy to > All > OK > OK.

Tips: When you are setting up the time frame for recording, you can left click and drag your mouse, or you can left click the little box on the grid, the color of the little box will change, which means it has been selected. Each day of the week is corresponding to 3 lines, the first line for Time (regular recording), the second line for Motion (motion recording), and the third line for Alarm (alarm recording). You should click Time, Motion, or Alarm above the grid first before you configure the timing below.

Video Playback

Right click the mouse > Video playback. You can set the search criteria: Date, Time, Channel, Record Mode (Manual/Motion/Time/Alarm), and click Search. Left click or drag your mouse on the time bar (at the bottom) to start the playback. Under Search, you can see all episodes of the recording, navigate to your desired page and episode, and click File Playback to play.

Motion Detection Recording

Step1: Right click the mouse, go to System Setup > Record Setup > Choose the Channel > Click Motion > Set up the time frame on the grid > Click Copy to > All > OK > OK. You may click Reset to erase all the selection on the grid, and configure again.  If you schedule the recording the way below (green line from Sun to Sat, 00:00-24:00), it means your NVR will only record when movement is detected within this time frame (Sunday-Saturday, 24/7).

Step2: Go to Channel Setup > Video detection > Choose the Channel, then from the drop-down menu of Detection, choose Motion > Set up the Sensitivity > Check the boxes below for Alarm, Buzzer, Email Notice or App Alarm per your needs > Click Copy to > Choose All > Click OK to save the setting.

Tips: The area being monitored for motion can be edited under Area Edit. Click Area Edit, by default, the whole screen was selected and being monitored, if you want to mask specific area, left click and drag your mouse, or simply left click your mouse on specific boxes of the grid to unselect them. You can also right click your mouse to unselect the whole screen, or select the whole screen over again, right click your mouse and choose Return to exit.

How to Do Video Backup via USB Device

Step 1 Find a USB memory stick. Since there is only one USB port on the NVR, please find the USB adapter provided in the package, connect it to the USB port of your NVR, it will then allow you to connect multiple USB devices (mouse and the memory stick) into the same USB port.

Step 2 Right click the mouse > Choose Video backup > Choose the Channel, Record mode, Search time > Click

Search > Select the video you want to backup > Click Backup.

Tips: The maximum backup capacity is 32GB. Recordings will be backed up at hourly intervals.

Question: My camera is getting misty inside, is there a known fix?

Answer: Condensation occurs in a humid environment as a result of the difference of the temperatures of the air and the object on which it occurs. In most cases it will clear up itself. The mist is more or less a rapid drop in temperature – one solution might be the use of a see-through rain cover, or a large enough zip-lock bag with appropriate cuts, applied before taking the camera out of doors to minimize the humidity trapped in it.

Otherwise, the same humidity will still condense within the rain cover itself instead of in the camera just like when one uses a rain cover in cold weather with a warm camera. Another, not as practical, but effective solution might be to regulate the temperature around the camera, but isolating it from humidity is the more guaranteed solution, even if it is only applicable in very few situations. If the issue remains, you may send it back for replacement, please contact us via email.

Question: My NVR is not recording, why?

Answer: We sell NVR with / without hard drive, so make sure your NVR comes with a preinstalled hard drive. If your NVR does not include a hard drive, you can source one on your own, or you can purchase one from us. If you have a spare hard drive and you can install on your own, make sure it is a 3.5 inch internal hard drive with SATA connector.

If your NVR comes with a hard drive but it is not recording, please verify the hard drive info, if it is not showing hard drive info, open the NVR case and verify the cable connection. If it shows up error under the hard drive info, Right click the mouse > Go to System setup > General setup > HDD Setup > Format, then click on Format.

Note that because the hard drive records continuously (24/7), it may become corrupted after some time, we warrant the hard drive up to 12 month following the purchase date, if your hard drive is not recording anymore, you may still contact us via email.

On the log-in screen, if you enter the wrong password, it should give you the above error message.
