Arlo Go 2 gives you the flexibility of using 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or LTE for connectivity. You can also use LTE as a backup in case your Wi-Fi internet connection is interrupted.

Note: When using both 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and LTE mode, Wi-Fi will always be the primary mode of connection.

Arlo Go 2 works with the same Arlo Secure App as all other Arlo cameras and devices. However, to connect your Go 2 camera to the mobile network, an activated SIM card with a mobile data plan must be inserted into the camera.

Note: We recommend that you charge the battery before mounting your camera. Your camera LED indicator light will blink amber if your battery needs charging. The indoor charging cable that came with your camera works with most power adapters.

Recommended Router Settings for myQ Cameras

When setting up a LiftMaster camera, there may be a few Wi-Fi settings that need to be changed in order to successfully connect the device. Some settings may need to be given to your internet service provider (ISP) to have them configured for your site or home see When to Contact Your Internet Service Provider (ISP)

Recommended Router Settings

Note: If attempting to change any router settings yourself, be sure to back up your router’s current settings before any changes are made and have the router’s manual available.

• Set your network to broadcast and not hidden. myQ cameras may work properly with a hidden network, but this is not recommended.

• Ensure you have DHCP enabled. DHCP allows the router to assign a LAN IP address to the myQ camera.

• myQ cameras are compatible with both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

• Ensure you have 802.11n (802.11 b/g/n) enabled. myQ cameras do not support 802.11ac

• Set your router’s security to WPA2. While myQ products support other security protocols, WEP and WPA, security protocol WPA2 is recommended. WPA2 Enterprise and WPA3 Enterprise settings are not compatible with myQ product

myQ cameras require these ports in order to communicate to our server

• Inbound and outbound TCP/UDP ports 9122, 4444, 5101-5104, and 4101-4104 open

Verify that ports are not being blocked by your router or a firewall product

• If you have your router’s MAC address filtering enabled, the MAC addresses of the myQ product must be added to the list of authorized devices. You can review the MAC addresses of all devices on your network with your router’s software.

Note: User-modified routers using open-source firmware (such as DD-WRT, OpenWRT, etc.) have not been tested with myQ products. While some of these open-source versions may work with myQ products, compatibility is unknown.

Unable to Connect the myQ Smart Garage Camera to Wi-Fi Overview

myQ Smart Garage Cameras require a Wi-fi internet connection to access the myQ server. If the myQ Smart Garage Camera is not connecting to the server, the issue could be due to the router, mobile device connection, or Internet connection.

When attempting to connect, the camera’s LED indicator lights will go through a sequence of flashes before finally turning solid green to confirm the connection. Each step of the sequence indicates what the camera is attempting to do and how you approach troubleshooting depends on the LED light’s behavior and color.

Before You Begin

• Confirm if the app has provided any Error Codes.

◦ If so, see: myQ Error Codes and How to Resolve Them.

• A ladder may be required to complete setup.

• Ensure you have your home Wi-Fi network password.

Make sure to check the status of the LED on the myQ Smart Garage Camera and use the list below to determine a resolution.

Note: Chamberlain Group Technical Support does not troubleshoot routers. If additional assistance is needed to access a home router, please contact your internet service provider.

Why iCam365 camera is offline?

First, check if the power supply and the network are normal. If they are normal, power off the camera and restart it. If the device is still offline after restarted, eliminate the camera in the APP and add it again.

Why does the iCam365 camera show no memory card?

1. The camera does not support hot-plugging. You need to power off the camera to insert the memory card. Please restart the camera.
2. If the memory card still cannot be identified after the camera is restarted, please replace it with a new card and try again.
3. If the new card still cannot be identified, the card slot may be damaged, or there is a failure in the FFC. Contact the supplier to replace the device.

What shall I do if the memory card is full?

No need to handle it manually. The camera automatically overwrites the earliest video documents when the spare space of its memory card is 500M or less.
