Download and install the Bird Lover App for either IOS or Android.

Login Bird Lover app

Once downloaded, the APP will prompt you to register your device. Enter your phone number or email address which one makes you feel comfortable and select the country you live in. You will receive the registration code. Input the registration code, then create a password.

Connect Bird Lover Bird Feeder Camera To Wifi

1. Turn on the Bird Lover Bird Feeder camera power and you will see the indicator light flashing quickly and hear a sound.

2. Open the Bird Lover App, click +, select your Bird Feeder Camera (you can choose one at random, the connection is the same), and then follow the instructions of the App.

3. Bird Lover Bird Feeder Camera only supports 2.4G wifi, please make sure your current wifi is 2.4G.
Enter your wifi password, make sure the wifi password and wifi are correct and click Next.

4. Scan the QR code with the Bird Feeder camera. You will hear a prompt sound after a successful scanning.

NOTE: The QR code needs to be aimed at the camera below

5. Wait for Bird Lover Bird Feeder Camera to connect to your wifi, about 60-120 seconds.

Detection settings

1. Turning on or off the “Motion Detection” at the Features interface.

2. Make sure there is an option to turn on notifications.

Click “ME” in the lower right corner, Click the settings button in the upper right corner,Click App Notification.

3. Click “Alarm” to turn on or off. You also can set schedule for “Do Not Disturb Schedule” at the same interface.

Simply click on the “Identify” icon and the app will identify the bird species and provide a description of the bird. See the manual for details.

Why the recognition result is wrong?

The accuracy of the results depends on the angle and clarity of the bird images.

To ensure a correct result, please ensure that the image is clear enough. The identifying features (bird’s head, tail, wings or pattern on feathers) should not be obscured by obstructions.

The bird should be in the main position in the picture; try to capture the best moment to recognise the bird if the previous recognition accuracy rate is too low; if there are two or more bird species in a picture, the identified result will be the one in the main position.

Upgrade Device Firmware

For a device added via IP/Domain, its new version can be detected by the Mobile Client. Once detected, you can upgrade the device to its latest version.

1.Enter the Device Information page.

• On the device list page, if the page is in the list mode, swipe the device name to the left and tap .

• On the device list page, If the page is in thumbnail mode, tap the device name or tap .

• On the Live View page. Tap  and then tap Settings.

2.Tap  > Device Version to enter the Device Version page.

3.Tap Upgrade and then tap UPGRADE on the pop-up window.

The Mobile Client will download the upgrade file first and then start upgrading the device.

You can also enable the Mobile Client to automatically download the upgrade file in Wi-Fi networks once a new device version is detected. For details, see Auto-Download Upgrade File.

UPDATING FIRMWARE

Hikvision regularly updates the firmware in our products to resolve potential issues and keep your system running smoothly. Below, you can find guidance on how to update your system accordingly.

Updating Hikvision IP Camera Firmware

To upgrade the firmware of a Hikvision IP camera, please follow the steps below:

1.Locate the appropriate firmware by clicking this link

2.Click on the firmware, then click download.

3.Agree to the license terms and conditions when prompted.

4.Locate the downloaded firmware file (this typically will be in the default download folder, unless prompted for a download location, then choose Desktop) and extract it by right-clicking on the file and selecting extract all or unzip. When prompted for an extract location, choose Desktop to extract the final file to. A file labeled DIGICAP will appear on the desktop.

5.After the file is extracted, log into the camera using Internet Explorer or Firefox web browsers. If prompted to install the plugin (or to allow the plugin to run), follow the prompt to proceed with the upgrade procedure.

6.Log into the camera using the administrator username and password, then go to the Configuration tab. In this tab, go to Basic Configuration then System, and then click on the Maintenance tab.

7.On the bottom of the page under Remote Upgrade, press the Browse button to locate and choose the firmware file, which was previously saved on the Desktop. After selecting the file, click Open, then click Upgrade.

8.The camera will display a prompt that a reboot is necessary to complete the upgrade. Click OK. The camera will reboot when the firmware is successfully upgraded.

Upgrading Hikvision DVR/NVR Firmware

To upgrade the firmware of a Hikvision DVR or NVR, please follow the steps below:

1.Insert a USB flash drive into the computer’s USB port (Please note that the USB flash drive does not need to be empty; it may contain other files and documents).

2.Locate the appropriate firmware by clicking this link

3.Click on the firmware, then click download.

4.Agree to the license terms and conditions when prompted.

5.Locate the downloaded firmware file (this typically will be in the default download folder, unless prompted for a download location, then choose Desktop) and extract it by right-clicking on the file and selecting extract all or unzip. When prompted for an extract location, choose the USB flash drive (typically labeled by letters E, F and so on) to extract the final file to. A file labeled DIGICAP will appear in the USB flash drive.

6.After the firmware has been extracted (unzipped), remove the USB flash drive from the computer and insert it into one of the available USB ports on the DVR/NVR unit.

7.On the DVR/NVR, go to the Main Menu, and then go to Maintenance.

8.From the sub-menus on the left click Upgrade. This will display the content of the USB flash drive.

9.Choose the DIGICAP file and press Upgrade.

10.An information window will pop up prompting that the unit will reboot after the upgrade is complete. Click YES.

11.To verify that the firmware has been upgraded, after the DVR/NVR is rebooted, go to the Main Menu, and then go to System Information. The current firmware version will be displayed.

3.Create a tunnel into your Hikvision device.

WiFi Camera 3rd Gen setup via Green Feathers app

This guide shows you how to set up your WiFi Bird Box Camera, Solar Powered WiFi Camera, or Garden Wildlife Camera on WiFi

.

Before you begin

Test the WiFi signal strength by taking your smartphone/tablet to the site where you plan to install your camera; if it has a weak signal at the installation site then the camera may struggle to maintain a connection (see section 9 Hints & Tips at the bottom of the guide for help with WiFi signal strength)
.

Insert a micro SD card if you have one; hold the camera with the lens facing up, then insert the micro SD card with the metal contacts facing up. Push it in fully until you feel it click into place. If you have trouble inserting the SD card to the point where it clicks into place, hold it down with your thumb then use a thin object like a pen to push it down fully
.

Before you mount the camera in the bird box, make sure it’s connected to your WiFi router and can be viewed on the app. It’s best to set the camera up when it’s plugged in a different room to your router, then once it’s connected you can unplug it and install it in the final location

Ensure the device being used to set up the camera is connected to the same WiFi network that you want the camera to be connected to (this is only required for the setup process)

Make sure you know the name and password of the WiFi network which the camera will be connected to

Make sure that you are connecting the camera to a 2.4GHz WiFi signal; if you don’t know what this is you can read more here
.

Plug in the power supply into the trailing cable of the camera; after the camera has powered on you will hear a three note chime, and the camera will start saying “Wait for WiFi config”

Remove the lens cap on the camera, if it has one, and remove the cap on the reset button

Let’s get started

To get started, open the app:

1. Registering an account

Tap ‘Sign Up’ to create an account, then select ‘Agree’ for the ‘User Agreement and Privacy Policy’. If you have already signed up then skip below to the section called ‘Adding the camera to the app’.

Once your account is all setup, just log in to the app!
.

2. Adding the camera to the app

The first time you go to the Home page, you can choose to allow the app to use your device location. This is not essential, but helps with some features. Next, click the green ‘+’ icon at the top right of the screen.

Now select the model of camera you are setting up, then select “QR mode”:

3. Setting to QR mode and resetting the camera

Follow the instructions on the app or below to reset the camera.

Now tick ‘Next step’ and select ‘Next’.
.

4. Entering the WiFi details

Now you need to enter the details of the WiFi network that you want the camera to connect to. The name of the WiFi network which your phone or tablet is connected to should be automatically filled in, so just enter the password. To change the WiFi network your device is connected to, tap the icon to the right of the WiFi name:

5. Scanning the QR code

When you select ‘Next’, the app will display a QR code to you. Point the camera 15-20cm away from the QR code, directly facing the screen, and the camera should register it and say ‘Connect router’. When it says this, tap the ‘I Heard a Prompt’ button.

If the camera is not scanning the QR code, try slowly increasing or decreasing the distance between the camera and phone screen to bring the QR code into focus. It can sometimes be easier with the phone placed on a flat surface to help keep the camera pointed in the right direction while slowly moving it.

It is also possible to re-adjust the focus on the lens which can be done by gently twisting it. The nut around the bottom of the lens will need loosening first. It is best to adjust the lens a small amount at a time as it shouldn’t be far out of focus.

After you have tapped the ‘I Heard a Prompt’ button, the app should automatically begin connecting to the camera.

After a minute or so, it should have found the camera and added it to the app, you can set a name for the camera now, or later on in the settings menu.

6. Troubleshooting

If the camera does not connect to your WiFi:

If you have connected it to your internet router, but it shows the message ‘Establishing encrypted channel‘ and doesn’t load: 

Remember, this guide only applies to the 3rd Gen NCIP3WF which was released in December 2020, if you have an older model of the camera have a look at our guide for the NCIP9WF or for the NCIP2WF. If you are unsure which camera you have, have a look at this article.

7. Adding and renaming the camera

Now you can rename the camera by tapping the pencil icon to the right of the camera name. Once it is added, to view the camera go back to the ‘Home’ page using the icon at the bottom left then select your camera from the list.

Let’s get started

To get started, open the app:

1. Registering an account

Once your account is all set up, just log in to the app!

2. Selecting the connection method

On the Home page, click the green ‘+’ icon at the top right of the screen.

Select the type of camera that you have from the grid shown, for wired setup it will either be Garden Wildlife Camera or Wired Bird Box Camera.

Now select Ethernet mode and follow through the prompts that show on the screen to connect your camera.

The app will start searching for your camera with a 2minute count down, once it has been found you will be presented with the screen below.

Once the circle has filled and the camera is connected to the network, you can set a name for the camera by tapping on it.

If the camera does not connect at this stage, try going through the wired setup steps again without resetting the camera.

5. Resetting the camera

1. Power on the device and wait for it to play three notes to indicate it has started up
2. Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds; you will hear it say ‘Reset, camera reboot’.
3. When the camera starts saying ‘Wait for Wi-Fi config’ or has a flashing red indicator light, tick ‘Next step’. Once your camera has been reset you can re-connect it to Wi-Fi.

1). Remove power cable before inserting the microSD card to the camera.

There are 2 types of recordings：

24/7 recording: 24/7 recording refers to the continuous recording of the camera which is about every 10 minutes as a node continuous recording.

Alarm recording: The camera captures footage only when the motion detection alarm is activated.

The system does not detect SD Card.

Followings are a few possible reasons why this may be occurring:

1. Please power off camera before inserting SD card into camera.

2. The SD card read&write speed not good, please use a SD card with class 10 or above class 10.

Here are questions which may help you to shoot the issue when you use an Ethernet cable to connect the IPcam to the router:

1. Make sure the Green LED on the cable connector is flashing . If not, the connect between the camera and the router is still off.

Double check to ensure both two ends securely connected. You can also try other ports which on the router.

2. Make sure your mobile phone connect to same router or same LAN as the camera cable connecting.

3. Make sure DHCP is enabled on your router.

4. Make sure NO MAC filter enabled on your router. Or you need to disable MAC filter temporiaily before successfully configure camera.

5. When you switch from Ethernet to WIFI on the app, it will ask for WiFi password, make sure the provided WiFi password is correct.

3. How to Setup Motion Detection Alarm

Step1: Enable motion detection alarm

Note: The alarm notification will be pushed just ONE time within 30 seconds

Step1-1: Tap “Setting” button >> “Settings” >> “Alarm settings” be the alarm setting window as figure 1 and figure 2.

Sensitivity: The greater the number, the higher the sensitivity, the camera will be more easily alarmed.

4. Camera’s Wi-Fi is unstable and often offline

Followings are a few possible reasons why this may be occurring:

1. Check whether antenna is tightened.

2. To check Wi-Fi signal, in normally, it should be more than 3 bars.

(The distance between the camera and wifi router being too far might cause wifi signal to be less than 3 bars ).

3. WiFi channels: check if WiFi channels are busy, possibly reconfigure to “Automatic”.

4. The camera IP address conflicts with other devices, needing to set camera IP address to be a

fixed one.

5. Change the name of the wireless network (SSID): If there are different wireless networks with the same name (SSID) in your

environment-perhaps because a neighbor uses the same wireless router,a wireless repeater has the same name as the router – WLAN

devices could try to automatically connect to the wrong wireless network ,Therefore, set up a unique wireless network name in your

wireless router or repeater.

6. Set maximum transmission power:In some wireless routers, the transmission power can be reduced,which reduces the performance

of the wireless network. Make sure your wireless router has the maximum transmit power set.

5. The system does not detect an SD Card

Followings are a few possible reasons why this may be occurring:

1. Please power off camera before inserting SD card into camera.

2. The SD card read&write speed not good, please use a SD card with class 10 or above class 10.

3. The SD card is broken.

4. The SD card has not been formatted properly.  please format sd www.sricam.com/srihome/download

5. The SD card slot is malfunctioning.

6. Can’t connect WiFi

If you fail to setting WiFi for ip camera, please make sure your router：

1. All IP Cameras support 2.4G HZ WIFI，only some IP cameras don’t support 5GHZ Wi-Fi.

2. NO MAC filter enabled on your router. Or you need to disable MAC filter temporarily before successfully configuring camera.

3. Router’s DHCP is enabled, after setting up and setting a fixed ip address for IP camera, you can disable DHCP again.

4. The WiFi Encryption is WPA/WPA2-PSK, either AES or TKIP encryption is OK if you are not using WPA/WPA2.

There is possible using WEP. It is recommended to use WPA/WPA2 now because WEP is quite old technology and not safe nowadays.

5. WiFi Channel needs to set as AUTO in order to avoid busy channels.

Inconsistent signal, it could be due to:

1) Too many devices sharing the same internet network. Please try to disconnect other devices.

2) The IP camera is too far from the router if using WIFI connection.

• Other quality and setup issue, please reset camera to factory default.

7.How to set the privacy zone

1. Open the SriHome APP, click the settings button, and then click “Video Settings”

2. Click “▼”, select “Area 1”, and then randomly select an area on the video screen of this interface, and then click “Save”.

3. Back to the video viewing interface, you can see the privacy area just set

Note: If you need to clear the privacy area, go back to the video settings and click “Clear Current Area” or “Clear All Areas” to cancel the privacy area (a total of 4 privacy areas can be set)

8. How to restore the camera to factory settings?

Step 1: Power on the IP Camera and wait for about 30 seconds

Step 2: Keep pressing the RESET button for about 15 seconds then release.

Then camera successfully restore to factory settings  (password default : 888888).

9. Multiple-view on srihome App

Step 1 ：Tap the “multiple view” icon as Figure 1.

Step 2 ：On the pop up windows select the camera which you want to multiple view as figure 2.

Step 3 ：Tap “Next”to pop up multiple view.

Note:In multi-scree mode, you can watch up to 4 devices at the same time(except NVR).

10. How to retrieve the ID number if the camera’s ID tag is lost or damaged

1) When the SriHome App does not add a camera:

Please power on the camera, press and hold the reset button for 5-10 seconds, and wait for the camera to reset to factory settings.

Open the WiFi network settings of the mobile phone, and find the WiFi hotspot sent by the camera.

The part after removing the “IPC-” from the WiFi name is the ID number of the camera. As shown below:

2) When SriHome has added a camera:

Open the SriHome APP, click Modify, and you can view the camera’s ID and ID QR code. As shown below:

11. How to solve the problem that the upgraded camera cannot be turned on

1. Please copy the entire decompressed update folder to the root directory of the SD card, the file cannot be renamed; (please contact customer service for the updated folder)

2. Then install the SD into the camera, and then power on the camera;

3. After waiting for 2 minutes for the camera to rotate and self-check, press the reset button to reset the camera to complete the upgrade process.

Notice:

1. Please ensure that the camera cannot be powered off during the upgrade process

2. If the upgrade fails, the camera will automatically restart, no need to unplug the power supply

12. How to download and delete videos in SD card

Steps to download videos:

Note: 

① The mobile phone must be connected to the same LAN as the camera before the download logo will appear.

② IOS does not support video download function.

③ The firmware version of camera is above V8.1.1.

④ SP027 models do not support this function.

1. First connect the mobile phone and the camera to the same LAN

2. Open SriHomeAPP and open the playback function

3. Click the download icon to download to the local video of SriHomeAPP

4. Open the local video, long press the video, and click save to album

5. Open the mobile phone photo album to view the downloaded video

Steps to delete videos：

Note: Both Android and IOS do not support the deletion of a single video

Open SriHomeAPP, click Settings, click Video Settings, Click Format SD card to delete all videos in the SD card

2．How to Use 5G AI Camer

1) How to Connect 5G AI Camera

1. If you need to use the 5G network, you can use a SIM card to connect to Cellular for your camera.

Note: 

1) As long as the SIM card is inserted and cellular is enabled, it will consume the data of the SIM card. If there is live video streaming, it will consume more data.

2) 5G AI Camera support 5G, 4G and 3G networks.

2. If you don’t need to use the 5G network, you can connect to the camera through LAN. And PoE are supported for 5G AI Camera.

3. After completing the basic settings of 5G AI Camera, you can access the camera through the Milesight P2P or VPN using 5G network without connecting the network cable.

Note: 

1) If you use the 5G camera for the first time, it is necessary to connect the camera through the network port to access the web page of the camera for basic configurations.

2) For Milesight CMS, M-Sight Pro and Milesight VMS Enterprise, we recommend to add 5G AI Camera through P2P when using 5G networks, which is more convenient and simple.

3) What’s P2P?

P2P technology is convenient, simple, stable and reliable. It does not require a fixed IP address, and the connection of camera through MAC address won’t change because of the network environment. P2P technology is very convenient and practical for the wireless network transmission of 5G AI Camera.

① Milesight CMS

For Milesight CMS, it supports adding 5G camera via P2P using 5G network, and then the parameter of 5G can be configured.

Step 1: After logging into the Milesight CMS, go to “Management“→ “Devices“→ “Add Devide Manually“, and you can add 5G AI Camera by Mac Address when selecting P2P connection type.

Step 2: Go to “Devices Config“ → “5G Camera“ → “System“ → “Network“ → “Cellular“, You can set the cellular settings and check the cellular status and on CMS as shown below.

② Milesight VMS Enterprise

For Milesight VMS Enterprise, it supports adding 5G camera via P2P using 5G network.

Step 1: After logging into the Milesight VMS Enterprise, go to “Settings“→ “Devices Management“→ “Add Device“→ “Add Manually“, and you can add 5G AI Camera by Mac Address when selecting P2P protocol.

Note: VMS Enterprise does not support 5G and IoT configuration currently.

③ M-Sight Pro

For M-sight Pro APP, it supports adding 5G camera via P2P using 5G network.

Step 1: After logging into the M-Sight Pro, go to “Device Manager“→ “Add Camera“, and you can add 5G AI Camera by Mac Address when selecting P2P protocol. Or you can connect the 5G AI Camera by P2P QR Code.

Note: The P2P QR Code of the 5G AI Camera is activated on the camera Web by default.

4．How to Configure 5G AI Camera

Step 1: Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot at the bottom of the camera, as shown below:

① It supports Nano SIM for SIM card slot.

② For 5G camera, the SD card slot is inside the camera, as shown below:

Step 2: After logging into the web, go to “Settings“→ “Network“→ “Basic“→ “Cellular“, you can check the cellular status and set the cellular settings here, as shown below.

Step3: Fill in the information provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to Cellular Settings interface, then click “Save” to access the network successfully.

Note: 

①For some Internet Service Providers, users can access the 5G network by simply inserting the SIM card directly, without additional configuration.

②As long as the SIM card is inserted and cellular is enabled, it will consume the data of the SIM card. If there is live video streaming, it will consume more data.

Please refer to the meaning of the options as follows：

Step4: After connecting to the network successfully, you can check the cellular status information on Cellular Status interface, as shown below.

Step 5: Set the schedule, the 5G network will take effect according to the schedule you set.

Step 6: After configuring the cellular settings, you also need to complete other basic configurations of the camera if needed, such as events, recordings, etc.

Step 7: After completing the basic settings of the camera, you can access the camera using 5G network without connecting the network cable.

How To Turn ON/OFF the LED Indicator light

1. In the Nooie App, tap Cam in the bottom navigation bar, then choose your device.
2. Tap the Settings icon on the top right corner.

   

3. Tap General > LED Indicator to turn it ON or OFF.

How to setup a 360 camera in the app?

Before Setting up the 360 camera

Make sure you are logged into your account in the Nooie app. If you have not or are having an issue creating an account please refer to the following link. https://help.nooie.com/hc/en-us/articles/4419763097751-How-to-create-an-account-in-the-Nooie-app-. Connect your phone to a password-protected WiFi network. A cellular network is not supported for setup.

Setting up the 360 camera

1. Plug the camera into an electrical socket for power. The recommended maximum distance from the “360” camera to the WiFi router is 40 ft (line of sight)
2. Next, press the (+) symbol in the top right of the Nooie app. Select “Add Camera”.

            

3. Under “Add Device”, select the “Nooie Cam 360” picture.

4. Under “Add a Camera”, make sure the camera displays a flashing “red light”. If you don’t see a flashing red light, press the “reset button” on the camera for 15 seconds or until an audible sound is heard. Click “Red Light On”.

5. Under “Connect to WiFi”, make sure the “Current Network” displayed is correct. Only 2.4GHz WiFi is supported. Enter the correct WiFi “Password”. Click “Next”.

6. Under “Connect to Camera”, place the “QR code” displayed on the phone screen 8″ to 10″ from the camera lens. An audible sound will occur from the camera and the blinking “red light” will change to a blinking “white light”. Click “Next”.

7. Under Pairing…Please Wait, the camera will go through a pairing process until an audible sound occurs from the camera. The blinking “white light” will change to a solid “white light” when the camera is connected.

8. Once connected, create a location “name” for the “Indoor” camera. Click “Save” to complete the setup.

Nooie Cam 360 Motion Tracking

 

Motion Tracking detects and tracks horizontal movement automatically within the camera’s field of view.

• When the camera detects motion, it will turn to follow motion to keep it within the field of view The camera will remain in that position until motion is sensed again, or the camera is moved manually via the Nooie App. 
• Motion Tracking can be turned ON and OFF independently of Motion Detection.

How to Locate the Motion Tracking Feature

1. In the Nooie App, tap on Camera in the bottom navigation bar, and choose Nooie Cam 360.
2. Tap the Settings icon on the top right corner.

   

3. Tap on the Motion Tracking toggle to turn it ON or OFF.
   • The motion Tracking toggle will be blue when it is ON and will be gray when it is OFF.

Nooie Cam 360 Motion & Sound Detection

 

Tip! You can set a schedule a timeframe for when you want to receive alerts for motion or sound detection (e.g. from 8 AM to 6 PM or whenever you are away from your home.) to optimize the use of video storage space if you’re using a MicroSD card.

 

Accessing Alerts

1. In the Nooie App, tap on Camera in the bottom navigation bar, and choose Nooie Cam 360.
2. Tap the Settings icon on the top right corner.

   

3. Tap on Detection > Motion Detection or Sound Detection to turn on the feature and create schedules.
   

   

4. Sensitivity: Adjust the sensitivity of motion/sound detection to receive more or fewer alerts. The more sensitive the setting, the more alerts you are likely to receive.

How to solve your 360 Cam’s connectivity issue?

If your Nooie camera failed to connect, please check the LED indicator on your camera and reference the following recommended solutions.

There are 4 common situations for why your Nooie camera may not be operating:

1. Camera is not connected to the server.
2. Camera is not connected to the router.
3. Incorrect WiFi password is being used.
4. Camera has a malfunction, not operable.

Situation #1

LED color: White (flashing fast and never turns to steady white light)

Reason: Camera is not connected to the server.

Solution:

1. Check your router and see if there’s any limits or firewall.
2. Turn off the firewall and connect again.

Situation #2

LED color: White (flashing slowly)

Reason: Camera is not connected to the router.

Solution:

Step 1 – Begin by Reviewing These Requirements.

1. Camera is connected to 2.4G Wifi; does not require authentication.
2. WiFi account/password does not contain special characters.
3. No wall between the camera and router.
4. Router is connected to less than 10 devices.

Step 2 – Check Your Router Settings

1. If you have smart Wifi, turn it off and try connecting the camera again.
2. If your router is dual band (5G & 2.4G), temporarily turn off 5G until the camera is connected.
3. Encryption & Authentication methods should be set to WPA2-PSK and AES.
4. Try turning off the wireless MAC address filter.
5. Make sure the DHCP server is on.

*If the problem persists, please email to support@nooie.com for further assistance. Provide the QR code located at the bottom of your camera, and the Wifi pairing code.

 

Situation #3

LED color: Red and white (flashing)

Reason: Incorrect WiFi password is being used.

Solution:

1. Re-eneter your WiFi password and make sure it’s correct.
2. Try using an alternative hotspot such as a smartphone to make sure the problem is related to the hardware and not your WiFi network.

Situation #4

LED color: Red and white (flashing)

Reason: Camera has a malfunction, not operable.

1. If all situation solutions did not work, the camera may have a malfunction.
2. The camera not be operable due to manufacturing issue.

Nooie Cam 360 Cam won’t pan or tilt

Problem

Pan and tilt functions are not working in the Nooie App.

 

Tips to Resolve

If the Nooie Cam 360 does not respond to pan and tilt gestures in the Nooie App, you may need to update the Nooie App to the latest version.

1. Download the latest version of the Nooie App(as shown below).  Confirm that it is the Nooie App, not the Nooie Cam App that will be retired in the near future.

Danale Wifi Camera Warm Tips

IMPORTANT POINT: For avoiding the loud noise, it is better to place the camera in a different room when use it. (Once there is loud noise, please turn off the microphone on the APP，clicking the microphone  is ok)

1. The camera supports 2. 4G wifi only, which can be set from your router.
(It’s better to use the camera under strong wifi signal environment. And it’s normal for IP camera if it is affected by network and delayed. )

2. Before connecting the camera, please reset the camera first.

3. There is no password for the camera. Once the camera added by the first account, it cannot be added by others, which means the camera only can be shared to others if others want to view the camera.

4. The camera can be used normally without activating the Cloud Service, except the motion detection video or photo messages. If you wanna see the video or photo messages, you can activate the Cloud Service . But it needs to be charged extra. And after activate it, there will be 30 days for new users to use it for free. (New user refers to activating Cloud Service the first time. )

5. If it is offline or wifi cannot be connected, please reset and connect it again. When resetting, there will be a Voice Prompt to tell resetting it successfully. When connecting, make the camera close to your router.

Add Camera

There are two ways of adding camera. (Both can be viewed by remote, which means you can view it when outside. )

One Way: WIFI Connection

Before adding the camera, your phone needs to connect your router wifi first .

1. Open the APP and register an account to log in.

2. Click ‘+’ and enter your wifi password. Then click ‘Next’.

（1. 5GHZ wifi cannot be supported.

（2. The hidden wifi cannot be supported.

（3. The special characteristics cannot be supported in wifi name and password (Such as ! @ ? * & %)

The settings on the router cannot be started, such as AP isolation, anti rubbing network to restrict wifi access

Before connecting the camera, please reset the camera first.

3. Waiting for searching the camera, after searched it and click ‘Add’. Then there will be a ‘Name your device’ page, it can be named by yourself or you can select the names on the page. After naming, click ‘Ok’ and the camera will be online.

The camera can be searched within 60 seconds in normal case.

If the camera cannot be searched, please check the tips as follow:

1. Make sure the wifi password is correct.
2. Make sure the wifi is not 5G.
3. When the network condition is not good, please reset the camera and connect it again, putting the camera close to your router and making sure your wifi is 2. 4G and your wifi password is correct.

The other way: Wired Connection

Connect the network cable and power to the camera, then reset the camera.

The camera and your phone needs to be in the same router wifi.

1. Click ‘+’ and click ‘Next’. There is no need to enter the password.

Before connecting, your phone needs to connect the router wifi first.

The settings on the router cannot be started, such as AP isolation, anti rubbing network to restrict wifi access.

2. Waiting for searching the camera, after searched it and click ‘Add’. Then there will be a ‘Name your device’ page, it can be named by yourself or you can select the names on the page. After naming, click ‘Ok’ and the camera will be online.

The camera can be searched within 60 seconds in normal case.

If the camera cannot be searched, please check the tips as follow:
The network cable connection if correct or not
The phone wifi and the camera are in the same router wifi or not
After checking, please reset the camera and connect it again as instruction above.

Sharing the Camera

Click ‘ ’ > Scan the shared QR code or enter the account which you wanna share to manually.
Before sharing it, you can set the camera access to the shared user, such as viewing the video or recording, setting camera, controlling the camera and so on. (After you share it, it also can be changed if you wanna change the access. )
Then waiting for the shared user to accept it.

Operations on Shared User

Click ‘ ’, click the head portrait, and you can check the currently logged account and QR code.

Click message > system messages > Accept the sharing and the camera will be viewed.

Main Functions Introduction

Recording Setting

Click the mark ‘ ’, then select ‘Device settings’ > Memory card management

When the Memory card just plugged in the memory card, it may not be read immediately. Please wait for 30 seconds.
When just set the recordings, the video will be viewed after 10 minutes.

It needs a micro Memory card to record and recordings will be saved to it.
But once Cloud Service activated, it will record automatically without a Memory card, which means you can use a Memory card or there is need to use a Memory card for recording.

Type: Class10
FAT 32 Form

Click ‘+’ > set the recording time, then click ‘ ’ to save

Click the mark ‘ ’>Device recording, and playback recording video in the Memory card.
Click ‘ ’ and check the current Memory card capacity.

Motion Detection Setting

Click Security setting> select Motion detection sensor, like ‘high’

If there is no motion detection, please turn off it and turn on it again.

The messages will be sent to you once at most within one minute.

Click ‘ ’, check the alarm messages.

About Cloud Service

Tips are as follow:

1. The camera can be used normally without activating Cloud Service, except the motion detection video or photo messages. If you wanna view the video or photo messages, you can activate Cloud Service.
2. Cloud Service needs to be charged extra. And after activate it, there will be 30 days for new users to use it for free. (New user refers to activating Cloud Service the first time. )
3. Once Cloud Service activated, it cannot be canceled.
4. After Cloud Service activated, it will provide motion detection recording for 24 hours the whole day and recording videos will be encrypted and uploaded to Cloud Storage automatically, avoiding the damage or loosing of them.
5. Recording videos saved in Cloud Storage cannot be deleted.
   Video file length is for 7 days’ recordings. When it comes to the 8th day, the previous video file (for 7 days) will be deleted automatically. And the newest recording videos will be uploaded.
6. If the camera was deleted or Cloud Service expired, the videos or images won’t be viewed. When re-add the camera or renew cloud service, they can be viewed again.
7. When camera is offline, videos or images saved in Cloud Storage are also can be viewed normally.

How to activate Cloud Service?

After you add the camera successfully, Click ‘ ’, click ‘Subscribe’, and the Cloud Service state can be shown. Then click ‘Purchase’ or ‘Renew’ for activating it.

Camera will make continuous ‘beep’ sounds after 30 seconds.

When you hear the continuous ‘beep’ sounds, enter SriHome App and do as follows:

Trouble shooting:

– If you fail to add device on App, please make sure of the followings:

1. Before adding device, you can hear continuous ‘beep’ sounds from the device. (If there is no sounds, RESET device)

2. Enter correct Wi-Fi password.

3. When you hear ‘Bi’ sound from device, click ‘Next’ in step 1-3.

– If you fail to setup your device via WiFi QR Connect for many times, you can try to setup camera via WiFi Hotspot Connect.

How to setup camera by WiFi hotspot

Make sure of the followings:

• Mount the antenna and make it vertical.

• All IP Camera support 2.4G HZ WIFI，only some IP cameras don’t support 5GHZ Wi-Fi.

Power on the camera, then press and hold the RESET button for 3-5 seconds to restore factory

settings. After one minute, the camera will generate a WiFi Hotspot:

Camera’s WiFi SSID: IPC_******, WiFi Password: 12345678

2). Go to the phone’s Wireless & Networks settings, and connect your phone to the camera’s WiFi Hotspot.

Note: When the Phone tips: “The current WLAN network cannot access the Internet. Switch to

another network?” Please select “Cancel”.

Add the camera on App

1). Run “SriHome” APP, Tap “+” button.

2). Input the camera ID: “A00*******” (Auto or manually)

3). Input the name of device: Give your camera a name e.g. home, office…….

4). Input the device password: Default password is 888888

5). Tap “Next” button to set wireless network (as figure3-6 to 3-9).

6). When added successfully, the camera will show on the Devices List.

Unplug the camera from power, then relocate the camera to anywhere within range of the WiFi network that you connected the camera to.

The system does not detect an SD Card

Followings are a few possible reasons why this may be occurring:

1. Please power off camera before inserting SD card into camera.

2. The SD card read&write speed not good, please use a SD card with class 10 or above class 10.

3. The SD card is broken.

4. The SD card has not been formatted properly.  please format sd www.sricam.com/srihome/download

5. The SD card slot is malfunctioning.

Here are questions which may help you to shoot the issue when you use an Ethernet cable to connect the IPcam to the router:

1. Make sure the Green LED on the cable connector is flashing . If not, the connect between the camera and the router is still off.

Double check to ensure both two ends securely connected. You can also try other ports which on the router.

2. Make sure your mobile phone connect to same router or same LAN as the camera cable connecting.

3. Make sure DHCP is enabled on your router.

4. Make sure NO MAC filter enabled on your router. Or you need to disable MAC filter temporiaily before successfully configure camera.

5. When you switch from Ethernet to WIFI on the app, it will ask for WiFi password, make sure the provided WiFi password is correct.

Camera’s Wi-Fi is unstable and often offline

Followings are a few possible reasons why this may be occurring:

1. Check whether antenna is tightened.

2. To check Wi-Fi signal, in normally, it should be more than 3 bars.

(The distance between the camera and wifi router being too far might cause wifi signal to be less than 3 bars ).

3. WiFi channels: check if WiFi channels are busy, possibly reconfigure to “Automatic”.

4. The camera IP address conflicts with other devices, needing to set camera IP address to be a

fixed one.

5. Change the name of the wireless network (SSID): If there are different wireless networks with the same name (SSID) in your

environment-perhaps because a neighbor uses the same wireless router,a wireless repeater has the same name as the router – WLAN

devices could try to automatically connect to the wrong wireless network ,Therefore, set up a unique wireless network name in your

wireless router or repeater.

6. Set maximum transmission power:In some wireless routers, the transmission power can be reduced,which reduces the performance

of the wireless network. Make sure your wireless router has the maximum transmit power set.

How to delete the camera from the App

1. Open the SriHome app, and click

2. Click “Remove Device” to delete the camera from the App.

How to adjust camera’s time？

Step 1. Login SriHome APP on your smart phone and go to settings>>>>>time settings as figure 1 and figure 2.

Step2. Select your local UTC, then click “Next”, as figure 3 and figure 4.

Can’t connect WiFi

If you fail to setting WiFi for ip camera, please make sure your router：

1. All IP Cameras support 2.4G HZ WIFI，only some IP cameras don’t support 5GHZ Wi-Fi.

2. NO MAC filter enabled on your router. Or you need to disable MAC filter temporarily before successfully configuring camera.

3. Router’s DHCP is enabled, after setting up and setting a fixed ip address for IP camera, you can disable DHCP again.

4. The WiFi Encryption is WPA/WPA2-PSK, either AES or TKIP encryption is OK if you are not using WPA/WPA2.

There is possible using WEP. It is recommended to use WPA/WPA2 now because WEP is quite old technology and not safe nowadays.

5. WiFi Channel needs to set as AUTO in order to avoid busy channels.

Inconsistent signal, it could be due to:

1) Too many devices sharing the same internet network. Please try to disconnect other devices.

2) The IP camera is too far from the router if using WIFI connection.

• Other quality and setup issue, please reset camera to factory default.

Camera ID, Camera Password, App Account ID and  Password

Camera ID

The camera ID is the unique identification of each camera. The camera ID can be found on the label which is attached to the camera.

Camera Password

The default password of camera is 888888. During the setup procedure, you can change the password for security. The Camera

Password is saved into the camera. The Camera ID and Camera Password is the only credential to access the camera.

Memorize the Camera Password because you need to use it when you try to access the camera from multiple devices.

In case you forget the Camera Password, you can do nothing but re-set up your camera.

If you forget the password, you can reset the cameras and then create a new password.

App Account ID and Password

When login SriHome App , you need to create a App Account ID and Password. The App account ID is unique identification of

each user account. For security, one user can only access the camera from one device. Therefore, the previous login will be force

quit (on iOS) when log in from the second device with same User Name. If you want to access the camera on multiple devices

simultaneously, multiple App account ID will be needed.

How to restore the camera to factory settings?

Step 1: Power on the IP Camera and wait for about 30 seconds

Step 2: Keep pressing the RESET button for about 15 seconds then release.

Then camera successfully restore to factory settings  (password default : 888888).

How to solve the problem that the upgraded camera cannot be turned on?

1. Please copy the entire decompressed update folder to the root directory of the SD card, the file cannot be renamed; (please contact customer service for the updated folder)

2. Then install the SD into the camera, and then power on the camera;

3. After waiting for 2 minutes for the camera to rotate and self-check, press the reset button to reset the camera to complete the upgrade process.

How to reset the password of the SriHome APP account

How to share camera to other users

To protect user’s privacy, the first user is an administrator by default. Other users accessing the camera need the administrator’s

authorization, or they cannot access even with camera ID and password.

The way to get permission is as follows:

Step 1：Log in “SriHome” App, tap Settings -> Visitors Management -> Add.

There are 2 types of permissions:

Operator: Watch live video, set time,video, alarm, records and so on.

Visitor: Only watch live video

Step 2: The share adds a device

After the administrator is authorized as a visitor or operator, you need to add equipment by yourself.

How to watch live streams on ONVIF Clients

1.Introduction

In order to use ONVIF clients the following requirements need to be met:

►Your computer (or mobile device) and the camera access to the same LAN.

►Your camera has been successfully set up.

► rtsp://your camera IP:554/1/h264major or rtsp://your camera IP:8554/profile0

2. iSpy for Microsoft Windows

Step 1: Download the application ( http://www.ispyconnect.com/)

Step 2: Unzip the downloaded package and click the unzipped iSpySet to install.

Step 3: Open iSpy. An welcome window will pop up. Click Ok to continue.

Step 4: To add the camera go to Add > ONVIF Camera.

Step 5: In the popup window, select the “FFMPEG(H264)” ，

type in  “rtsp://your camera IP:554/1/h264major or rtsp://your camera IP:8554/profile0”, select RTSP Mode : TCP ,then click  “OK”.

Step 6: In the popup window，click“ Finish”.  

Step 7: You can watch the live steam. If you have already added more than one camera into the camera list, all the

live streams can be displayed in the same time by overlapped windows.

right button and select Edit in the popup menu.

Locally record files

iSpy allows you to locally record videos in MP4 format.

Step 1: Press Record All button at the lower right corner. After finish recording press the Stop Record button.

How to change my camera’s password

Our camera password is saved in the camera. The SriHome app also has an account password. Don’t get confused. These

two passwords play different roles, and they work together to ensure only legislate user can access.

You can change password by tapping Settings > Security Setting.

Enter the original password of the camera,and then enter the new password.If you forget the camera password,you can press the reset button

Why would You Power Cycle Your Wyze Camera?

There are several reasons why you should power cycle your Wyze camera. One possibility is that your commands are not being recognized by the camera. Another possibility is that the image quality is poor or that the camera is unable to connect to your Wi-Fi network. In rare circumstances, a power cycle may also alleviate difficulties with motion sensing or alarms.

How to Power Cycle Wyze Camera?

Simply unplug the power from the camera after turning it off and streamline the power connections after a few seconds. This will reboot the unit, and you will have to wait a few moments for the base station to connect to the Wyze camera. So, if you’re experiencing small issues and don’t know how to power cycle the Wyze Camera.

Note: The power cycle technique is rather straightforward despite of Wyze model or whether it is outside or inside the camera.

This process can take up to 5 minutes. It’s rare, but it’s possible.

1. The LED status light on the device will change from Solid Red to Flashing Red.

What Should You Do If the Camera Doesn’t Connect even after the power cycle of the Device?

There are a few troubleshooting steps you can go through:

• Step 1: Reboot your Wyze Base station by disconnecting it for 30 seconds from its power supply.
• Step 2: Check the Wyze Cam Outdoor and Base Station status lights. They should both be solid blue, but if they’re flashing, it means they’re still trying to connect.
• Step 3: Launch the Wyze app and choose the connected Base Station. If the signal strength is merely one bar, move your Base Station closer.
• Step 4: Charge the Wyze Camera for four hours outside. You may use the mobile app to check battery levels whenever you need to.
• Step 5: Open the Wyze app (IOS) (Android) and navigate to Account > Firmware > Upgrade, then hit Update. The correct software can guarantee that the devices communicate.

Why is my WYZE Cam not connecting after the above methods?

WYZE Issue Code 90 is a “common” error that might occur at any moment. However, in 97% of the cases, the offenders are as follows:

• If there is a connection problem and repeated time-outs during setup, the Wi-Fi frequency might be the culprit. Most Wi-Fi routers today support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. As a result, you should ensure that you are connected to the 4 GHz WI-Fi network.
